Yes, there is a major resemblance to Brooke Lynn and Seth from Eerie Cuties, including the interest in girls. Is this Brooke all grown up (in which case, Seth has REALLY grown up) or is this an example of character recycling? I wonder how Mojo will react to DiDi?

I think that Mandy was just an accidental resemblance rather than any sort of expy. Dearly as I love Giz's artwork, she does sometimes fall into set patterns, especially when it comes to faces.

(Significant Example: Is Ruby supposed to be a doppelganger for Helen Tomalin of Penny & Aggie? You could say that there's a personality resemblance, though not at all a close one... I think that's just how Giz tends to draw a downtrodden/resentful younger sister.)

Years ago when both Penny & Aggie and Menage a 3 were active there was a plot involving Nathan, Amber, and Dillon where his secretary Helena came over to bring some contracts and I noticed the similar name and appearance. I was told it wasn't a doppleganger, but after Zi's porn film that featured 3 guys that looked just like Jack, Stan, and Rich I considered it a possibility.

What can I say I am a sucker for the girls in glasses.

Years ago when both Penny & Aggie and Menage a 3 were active there was a plot involving Nathan, Amber, and Dillon where his secretary Helena came over to bring some contracts and I noticed the similar name and appearance. I was told it wasn't a doppleganger, but after Zi's porn film that featured 3 guys that looked just like Jack, Stan, and Rich I considered it a possibility.

Honestly, I think that, at worst, Giz tends to repeat character designs when she isn't paying attention, and at best, she repeats them deliberately as a little joke. (These wrestlers are Giz or Dave's big joke.) Trying to assume more, and insisting that there's some kind of crossover going on when the writer says there isn't, is a quick and easy path to fannish madness.

Actually, those 3 were doppelgangers. Because Stan appeared later for real in the comic with Lisa (and got kicked in the junk bu Yuki)

then again, that second part could be an indication of how Melli gets along with Brooke. I know Lissa probably still hates Brooke (even without Ace being the point of contention), but Melli may not be as petty and vindictive.

btw, how do Twin Magic get along with the Women's champion?
