For those of you arguing whether Gary should or should not be interested in if he is cute, or not, or whether others have or have not done anything in the past to make him believe one way or the other - you are perhaps missing the point.



Gary doesn't consider particularly if others think he is cute, what MATTERS to Gary at this time is that TRACY thinks he's cute. This isn't narcissism, this is hope springing eternal.

Is it even really about self esteem? Gary's passivity is one of the biggest reasons he's gotten this much action. If something works why change?
