i think the far more believable scenario would be that he doesn't actually believe her, he just doesn't want to call her out on it. and given that every positive thing in his life comes about via just passively going with the flow & submitting to whatever insane thing the women around him say or do, can you really blame him for that?
The characters in this comic just have insane metabolisms. Just for two examples, Gary never takes any detectable exercise, while Sonya stuffs her face with every dessert that goes past her, and yet they both have bods to die for. One just has to not sweat it.

Olbers' Paradox surely must apply in both cases? If Gary's gullibility was truly infinite, it would shine forth in every scene. Rather than just in most scenes.

Seriously though, to me, the expression on Gary's face the last time he appears tells the story. That face is one of resignation. He knows she's not being truthful, but she seems determined to sell this, so he's just decided to go along for now.

iirc Tracy doesn't actually do outright sexual stuff on camera so I imagine she will just keep Gary there as eye candy for the viewers. He's filling in for one of her porno actress friends so he needs to wear something more interesting than t-shirt and jeans.
Please... I really enjoy the comic, and have been reading since the start... but there's naive, and then there's raging stupidity... can we please not go there? Please? I guess I'll just accept the previously stated premise that Gary knows its a ruse and is just going along with it as he has better luck that way.

Olbers' Paradox does not the prevent the universe from being essentially infinite, it just prevents it from being infinitely old.

I guess we know what story arc is gonna drag us closer to the finish line. Seriously though, last volume didn't end too long ago. So far we have two arcs that feel a little stretched. We need to go somewhere soon. I mean even see what's up with Zii and Izz. One of them could be wearing the others skin by now D:
