Some of the Kickstarter-related commissions have given her such reasons. She is indeed a wonderful artist who could doubtless turn her hand to anything, but from what I've seen, I don't get the feeling that she's very interested in depicting some of those bits in all their wrinkly Lovecraftian glory.

I can vouch that Giz has no problem with drawing anatomy, as my commission attests quite thoroughly. (Thanks again Giz!)

I mean who knows if this will work at all, and I may be wrong, but isn't this like the first time anyone's actually pointed out to these two how they obviously really feel about each other?

May go badly, but least it'd actually of been said to them, that'll knock something loose eventually.

So there is a FAQ, this has been talked about for years, and yet the discussion of "does giz hate boobs?!" still pops up.

Does it need to be in the banner ad? Does every comic page need a click confirmation of "US advertisers love cursing and explicit gore, but not nipples" on every single Pixie Trix page that releases? Does it need an under note saying "and yes, the kickstarter release will be uncensored"?

And on the inverse of "darn us advertisers!", can I ask why it matters so much to people that the nipples be shown? We just had an implied tongue licking of chocolate covered boobs, and show all the boob except for the nipples. I dunno, I find the obsession with them being completely topless to be weirder than them being censored. Porn is out there; just click that slipshine link

Hey now, I was pointing out the wording. You know the amount of F words in the entire run of the comic is probably just a handful, and here we have two in one panel. It was slightly shocking.

But anyway, it points to the interesting discrepancy between written and spoken speech. Add a few F words to a movie which is otherwise harmless? Bam! R rating for language. But, say, the book originals of Game of Thrones can be bought by any little kid.

Might be worth adding a note to the FAQ saying that this is purely a visual issue around nipples, and no, we don't know why Pixietrix could get away with the characters talking like sailors on shore leave if they wanted, so don't bother asking...

Though GRRM has been known to point out, politely, to parents in bookshops that he doesn't write for 13-year-olds, so don't blame him if they get confused by some of the incidents in those books.

Most people just find it weird since we have stuff like a week of comics devoted to Peggy assfucking her boyfriends. In a more innocent comic it would look normal, in Ma3 it's like blurring out the bloodied knife in a crime scene but leaving pictures of the maimed bodies laying around.

Personally I just like seeing the artists testing the limits of what is considered acceptable for the ads. It's like a game of chicken, with tits.

Well since 2008 we witnessed nudity on a regular basis so many of us are spoiled. Now I don't mind so much since there is plenty of censored eroticism to keep me entertained, but any time I see sheets and blankets draped in such a way to cover breasts post coitus it just looks wrong. I'd actually prefer some kind of cartoonish fireworks exploding or sparkles as a way of covering nipples.
