In a lot of cases when you expose yourself to your reactionary allergens over a long period of time, you tend to rebuild a tolerance. My brother was allergic to chocolate as a child (and so we found the wonders of warm molasses milk), but he drank a chocolate milk a day until he grew out of the allergy. He's also allergic to cats, but he stayed with a friend who has like 30 of them, and after a while wasn't being affected by them. Of course, now that he isn't around cat's so much, just being around one affects him.
As far as the strip goes, Zii is just so cute in her ego maniacal oddness. And the lack of emotional fulfillment in Didi's life is being shown to us in the after effects of another empty night. For her. I'm pretty sure the other one there has no qualms over what just happened. I hope he has health insurance though. Or that could be one expensive night for him. And I doubt they even went to dinner.

I don't doubt that Didi got a lot of physical satisfaction from Erik. But she is obviously unhappy. I have known young women with the physical proportions of Didi. They too got lots of orgasmic sex. But they had problems making true friends. I think Didi has made an attempt by making breakfast for her roommates.
In my experience, women who look like Didi are not taken seriously by straight men and have great difficulty making female friends. Perhaps that is why women often look to gay men for friendship.
