I don't doubt that Didi got a lot of physical satisfaction from Erik. But she is obviously unhappy. I have known young women with the physical proportions of Didi. They too got lots of orgasmic sex. But they had problems making true friends. I think Didi has made an attempt by making breakfast for her roommates.

In my experience, women who look like Didi are not taken seriously by straight men and have great difficulty making female friends. Perhaps that is why women often look to gay men for friendship.

You may be on to something there. My dad's ex-wife (No. 2) looked almost exactly like Didi. She had no problem at all finding sex, but the guys she wound up with didn't have a lot of respect for her; they didn't realize that there was a person underneath those looks.
