As I said, if a character in this setting doesn't seem to have any flaws, we just haven't seen enough of them yet. We're now seeing a bit more of Tracy. (And there's a lot that's nice to see of Tracy. Rimshot.) It's possible that she's teasing a bit here, but no, I think she may be on the way out the door wit Gary's Nintendo. He may now realise that finding a girl who shares his obsessions has one drawback; she'll behave as obsessively as him.

The kiss was cute, though. I remember people complaining in the past that characters in this comic didn't get enough romantic kisses. Gary seems to have appreciated this one.

Also - do I gather that Canadians use "bum" in the same sense that Britons do?

I doubt he'll speak up even about this, since Tracy was so nice to him beforehand with the kiss and his lockjaw, etc. But she is indeed a mixed blessing to him, as even though she apparently won't be using him for Swirlies anytime soon, he may have to buy another set of game systems for her to keep her away from his.

And anyway, it's Gary. He never speaks up or stands up for himself against sexy women. Or no-so-sexy ones either for that matter (yes I'm talking about Eulice).

He got something better than sex. A girl entered his life who is just as geeky as he is.

He has a chance at something real here. I myself had many relationships in my life. The only one that stuck, the one that is now a marriage that is ten years running, was the one with the girl who was in the middle of playing Chrono Trigger when I met her.
