A few. The ones I've had have either told me at the start that there was a long wait or delivered fairly quickly after the closing date. Waiting four months with few and far between updates and not even having a delivery date when other people have already got their stuff is a new experience for me.

I think next year I'll wait until stuff can be bought through the store and get it then.
you just did the survey, or did you actually backed and ordered something according to your contribution? (besides wallpaper)

if you in a country besides Canada or USA, it might take a while to get it

Ordered roughly $200 dollars of stuff and confirmed it all in the survey in Mid August. Haven't seen hide nor hair of any of it other than the wallpapers. I was always happy to pre-order MA3 and other books in the past but judging from the Kickstarter comments I might not get what I asked for until January/February.

A real disappointment compared to previous dealings with the team and why I'll probably wait for the store next time round rather than buying into the kickstarter.

I understand your disappointment. I'm very sorry about this. I'm doing all I can here. It's not like the whole team is helping me pack these books. We all live in different parts of the world. I have my longtime partner doing the labels in paypal and I'm packing as much as I can within an X number of hours I can dedicate to this in a day. So I get up and pack for 2 to 3 hours in a day, run to the post office, mail, come back, eat, sit down to write, then draw, eat, draw some more and then answer emails/questions, hit the hay (I try and wash in between lol.) And then repeat that for 6 days of the 7 days in a week. I'm trying to give myself one day off to do groceries and run some errands.

In the past, we only got about 1/4 of the orders we got here in one go, so we could get this out in roughly 2 to 3 weeks, and it was generally one book to ship out. Now we're shipping various sorts of packages, and with posters too. Packing those are a pain in the ass. Basically, we have people here who pledged for books that have never bought books from us in the past.

Anyway, we're almost done. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Spidrift, I haven't forgotten about the PDFs. Expect a message on that in the next couple of days.

Thanks for replying I really appreciate it.

I'm sorry if anything I said came across as me thinking you hadn't been working really hard. I always thought the delay was down to a combination of the kickstarter being far more successful than you'd expected and other things outside your control. I was disappointed/frustrated that it hadn't gone more smoothly but wasn't angry. I'll still happily buy stuff from you in future but might just wait until the rush is over.

Menage a 3 - Vol 6 Extras

Post by Spidrift »

Having got hold of volume 6, one also has sight of the extras...

1. Hey, a somewhat updated Cast Page, complete with the usual jokes and provocations in the "Orientation" section! Gary, Straight, overwhelmed; DiDi, Maybe a little bisexuelle; Kiley and Matt, "in a casual relationship"; Sandra, Straight ... mostly; Tatiana, a bad domme; Amber, Bi, porn-casual...

2. Chapter splash pages. Senna does rock that gaucho look. Peggy ... I'll be in my bunk.

3. The bonus strips - five more of "If Gary Married". Basically just throwaway invocations of the standard jokes about various characters, without much attention to any development they've experienced, and with a lot of Gary doing what's demanded of him, regardless of what character he usually has. However, I do notice a lot of Gary not only taking it up the butt, but actually liking it. Presaging developments in the main comic, maybe, I wonder?

4. Five-page previews of Sandra... and Sticky Dilly Buns. Okay, got those already, but I don't blame the creators for trying to promote them.

5. Shouri's pin-up of Zii. Seen it before, but hey, it's cute.

Which sort of reminds me; I'd love to see a bit more of other artists' versions of the characters. They don't always work, but they can make an interesting change. Maybe next year?

Got my books, postcards, stickers, and posters today. Everything arrived in good order and looking beautiful. I'd like to thank the whole GiDaE CaTS team for their hard work and perseverance, not only on this Kickstarter project, but in general. Thanks, Ladies and Gents, I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :D :ymhug:

Observation in passing; the online Cast page is now and still out of date compared to the one in the latest book.

Not yet, but - the Canadian postal service doesn't seem to have the best rep for speed, and this stuff is going through them and the UK postal system, in the Christmas season. So I'm not worried yet.

There's not been any problems with the Royal Mail at this end of the chain over Christmas so that can't be it.

Not promising very fast delivery, and then not providing it, doesn't count as a problem. It just counts as ... life.

Is it just me or has comedy seemed to veer off in the recent volume? I'm rereading volume two and get a chuckle nearly every strip. I can't remember when I laughed at a recent strip.
Behold, my current in development comic book series and the many links you could share for me!
