i suspect that this plan may infact end up backfiring on peggy. ingeniously subtle though it may be.

I am plenty sure Peggy is currently in the process of becoming Zii's next target.
More often than not people fail to see the entirety of the issue, and focus on a single facet of it. Zii is currently strongly fixated on DiDi, with a side-order of regret over Erik. Peggy is cute (damn but she's cute), but I think it'd take a little more than that to divert Zii just now. Unless she thought that she was in with a strong chance, and she decided that she needed a rather desperate displacement activity, I guess.

Anyhow - I doubt that Peggy's plan will work, but that's not for lack of the components dropping right into place. ("Payback for last night" indeed - she didn't even have to plan that line.) And she gets the dialogue just right ("Ya-ya" indeed). And hell, not only looks good in a naked apron, but can actually generate good cooking smells while she's at it? One can see why Jim was sad to lose her.

Probably, but so far it looks like it has a fairly good chance of succeeding. She's got Zii's attention although that's not a significant feat. It remains to be seen as to how making Zii jealous is supposed to work.

That's the bug in the plan; it's predicated on the idea that Zii has real feelings for Sonya, so that the idea of Sonya having another girlfriend would make Zii jealous. The trouble is, that idea comes from Sonya, who is sadly deluded on the subject. Zii's feelings for Sonya seem to be almost entirely raw lust, albeit in industrial quantities - and with DiDi occupying all of that part of Zii's brain just now, the chance of getting her even envious of Peggy for getting use of Sonya's body is probably slim.

It's sad in a way. Peggy is executing her tactics brilliantly, but she's running with bad intel.

That too. A new artistic touch from Giz. Is cool.

Ya-ya? I thought Sonya was finally getting Peggy's name right. Where did Ya-ya come from?

I think Peggy is calling Sonya "ya-ya" (as part of her plan), not the other way around.

Exactly. It's Peggy getting that sort of cutesy pet name just right.
