"If you see the need, would you consider making the final volume a few strips longer, if that's what it took?"

Totally. I haven't locked ourselves to exactly 150 strips for the final book. I'm totally open to the idea of using more pages to wrap everything up nicely.

Also, for those paying attention to this, instead of starting SDB at one a week and Ma3 at 2 a week, we think it'll make more sense to simply integrate SDB's final chapter(s?) within Ma3. To make things clearer for Ma3 only readers, the chapters that will be SDB will be marked as such. Might do a "Ma3 presents" for that chapter(s) and simply run the strips on both Ma3 and SDB in case we have some SDB readers who don't read Ma3. To not confuse Ma3 readers, we'll do a quick recap of what happened in SDB, but overall, I don't think people will be that confused. Almost everything is tied to Ma3 in some way (Dillon, Amber, Zii, Angel, Jung, etc.) This will push the release of SDB's next chapter but when it starts, at least it'll be released 3 times a week and be easier to follow.

Thank you kindly for this. I am also fully behind the idea of integrating SDB into MA3. It feels like early Xmas for me!

So we're basically getting a Grand Finale Crossover for Ma3 and SDB? That sounds good and it better be worth the wait.

Is Sandra's comic going on hiatus going to affect the schedule for Ma3 or the return of SDB in any way?

Is there a way to see what conventions Giz or David will be attending?

Technically, the 3rd book of SOTR should've been printed along with volume 9 of Ma3 but now it'll be printed along with volume 10 of Ma3. Other than that, won't affect other schedules.

Best way to know the cons we attend is to follow us on Twitter/Facebook (although Dave doesn't do social media much.) I have 3 upcoming ones: Calgary Expo this weekend, and Ottawa Comic Con and East Coast Comic Expo (Moncton) in May. I'll probably be at Montreal Comic Con in July, at Fan Expo in Toronto late August, and will try for Boston in August too, and NYCC in October.

Since we still plan to do more one shots and possibly mini series after Ma3 has ended, the main Pixie Trix site will stay up. I may put all the comics under 1 site but still not sure yet. Too early to know.

Is the comic ending at #1500 or is the final volume going to be extended?

The goal is #1500 but if we need a couple more, we'll use 'em. I'm soon switching to SDB, so the ending of Ma3 will be in early 2019. Probably also switching to two updates a week in November.

Do you guys have the "ending" to Ma3 hammered out yet? Just curious.

I'd say yes but there's always surprises. And what I mean by that is that even though we have an ending in mind, and we're going towards it, sometimes these characters throw us a curve ball. :)

Hmm. Is Kiley still returning before the end? Or can you not say because that would be spoilers?

How old is Jerzy, if he’s old enough to be Jaxon’s godfather?

Never really thought too much about it but I guess he'd have to be in his mid-thirties now. Although, we don't know how old he was when he was asked to be, or how old Jaxon is. There's probably an 18 years difference maybe?
