It's good to see the true star of this story back in action. :p

So Senna did know where Gary lived and she's the one who took him to Paris.

You mean Senna? Or perhaps Lita? LOL

Seriously though it's good to see Gary after all this time and finally find out why he's in Paris!

At last, the return of my favorite borderline psychopath. No, I'm not kidding because Senna is a freaking gold mine of entertainment.

She's also acting much more upbeat than I expected. Not the attitude I expected but it'd be kind of fun to see how she acts outside of domineering mode.

Whatever happens I just hope this leads to meaningful character development for Gary.

Well we know from prior experience that Senna has a history of dates/hang outs turning into spontaneous travel arrangements...

Ah, okay - it is explanation time. Good-o. This could still turn into a proper crossover with the current plot in SotR, if that moves briskly forward to a point where Sandra needs help, and she calls Senna in the middle of her date with Gary or something. But we'll just have to wait and see.

And we see that a few setbacks in his sexual life don't get Gary down too badly, or remove his ability to enjoy videogames. Which is nice for him, and in character really, I reckon.

What you said.

Why shouldn't she be her usual off-duty upbeat self? Sure, Sandra pissed her off a little, and she missed a possible opportunity with Domenico, but she's no worse off than she was before that photo session - and now she's got this naive innocent cutie back in her sights. She doesn't strike me as the type to stay down for long when there's still fun to be had.

Anyone care to footnote that for the sake of the ignorant?

Sotr doesn't have to move ahead too briskly. Sandra is currently getting herself into trouble at a gamer convention. I don't know precisely how Gary can help, but it seems likely that his gamer background brought about his Parisian adventure.
