But "everyone has sex with everyone else" isn't especially funny, and isn't generally how this comic operates.

Not that I'm assuming anything. The cast does seem a bit prone to weird stupid arbitrary actions lately. But I think that a half-naked catfight (which is easier to make funny) is still more likely here.

Now, doodling idly with possibilities rather than making predictions - the most logically likely cast member to walk in on that (or for that matter on hot girl-on-girl action) would be Gary. So let's assume that he does, and that he gets some idea as to the reason for the fight (or an offer to join in that action). At that point, even if he doesn't get any nookie, he should surely have to realise that no less than four gorgeous women are lined up to offer him sexual services, as of this one night.

Okay, Gary is a sweet-natured, dumbly noble guy. But there must be limits to the self-restraint that flesh and blood can permit. Could he really limit himself to a sexless relationship with a deranged phallophobe at that point? How do you keep them down on the farm, now that they've seen Paree?

Sure. And we've seen a fair bit of that lately. But I was just doodling possible actual consequences for a plausible near-future plot event.

It also ties up with something else - it makes Chanelle's appearance in Gary's most recent scene more than just a throwaway punchline. But very likely I'm trying much too hard here.

Don't forget that Zii also checked quite thoroughly herself. Oddly, it only seems to be women with this habit. Kinda curious about how she got out of the strip club's backstage without more groping.

DiDi may (or may not) be "not bisexuelle" as she claims, but I think this strip just adds to the evidence that she's incapable of relating to a man other than sexually. Here, she welcomes the news that Gary has broken up with Yuki because it gives her an opportunity to put his talents to use. It seemingly doesn't occur to her to wonder what Gary's feelings might be. Likewise, until Zii of all people pointed it out, she didn't realise that Matt thought they were in a relationship and might be upset if she got some Gary loving. Her response was to try to break up with him. By text. And then we have her inability to remember the names of any of the men she dates, her lack of reaction when she discovers that Zii is seeing Erik, and so on. The only relationship she has where she's emotionally involved is with Sandra, so it's no wonder she mistook that for a sexual attraction.

I think this has always been an aspect of her character (and it's probably explicable by the fact that she's never had to work to gain the attention of a man), but it's been foregrounded more and more recently, rendering DiDi less and less likeable in my opinion.

Depends on what Gary wanted out of the relationship. Which, I'd point out, is something not even HE knew the answer to when asked.

Personally, I'm rooting for a Sonya/DiDi Hook Up, mostly because it gets both of them out of the way for a bit. DiDi finally gets her conscious orgasm, and Sonya can go take a long walk off a short pier for all I care. Woman's so deep in the closet she's found Narnia.

Incidentally, that would be one way of finishing her story arc off. Get her with a Man and have her realize men just don't "do" it for her any more. Extra points if it's with Gary, because that would mean we'd be left with a heck of a recipe for drama. A Gary that has cheated, and gained nothing substantial in the experience.
