Two stray thoughts:

1. "Naked on the doorstep, clutching clothes over genitals" is in some danger of becoming a cliche in Ma3. Okay, so it's not as annoying as "Interrupted during sex", and it's a bit funnier, but I hope that G&D aren't running out of fresh gags.

2. What are the odds that Gary will now get back to his own apartment to discover that Yuki has suddenly had to go back to Japan or somewhere, leaving him (and the readers) emotionally as well as physically blueballed? Oh well, if that happened, I could at least see him being jumped and granted unexpected release by Senna or Sonya or someone...

The assumption amongst the majority here seems to be that Gary climaxed as soon as Chanelle's lips touched him. I don't necessarily see it that way. His shock in the third panel could simply be that a favourite porn star of his has decided to give him a bj. As far as he's concerned, he's gone from life-long loser to sexually magnetic in seconds and it's no real wonder he's struggling to get his head on straight.

The reason for his erection in the last panel may be that Chanelle did no more than a fluffer would be expected to do, harden him without climax, or that she was immediately removed from his groin by Amber or Dillon, leaving him blue-balled to the max either way. Dillon has convinced Amber that Gary needs to clear up his relationship with Yuki before taking any further steps. Chanelle, inevitably misunderstanding the situation, complicates that so either she or Gary has to be removed from the equation. Gary's butt-monkey status ensures it's him.

I'm gonna assume that the 'boner' in that last panel is just supposed to be the fold of his shirt/ the way he's holding his clothes(Giz has never placed any boners in the comic before - and Lord knows there's been plenty of times that such things should have been visible, and the curve looks a little awkward to be an erect penis poking through material - unless Gary is naturally crooked like that).

Still, I can see where that confusion about the visible boner would come into play (and if I'm wrong in my assumption, apologies in advance).

My understanding about the 'end of the fluffer' is related to what we might be able to call the democratization of porn. Traditionally, fluffers (in M/F porn) were often girls trying to work their way up the ladder, progress from fluffer to secondary performer, eventually to headliner. Given the incredibly low costs of production and distribution enabled by digital video and the internet, those distinctions don't make as much sense any more. There simply aren't the same barriers to entry into the world of pornographic performance. Not that fluffer was ever strictly a separate occupation, but you could probably say there aren't fluffers, but there are people who fluff. Kind of hair splitting, but meh.

You know, my first thought was that Chanelle was smarter than she let on. She knows there's a guy Amber and Dillion are both crushing on and that Amber considers him a premium catch. One of her first lines was basically her prodding Amber to strike while the iron was hot. She seems to be playing Id to Amber's Ego and Dillion's Superego.
