about STD and porn industry

as far as I have heard, is both "clean" and "dirty" in it, a lot of "established companies" periodically check their actor BUT other companies DO NOT and worse, they like to do bareback filming, where there is no protection

those are the ones that have an EXTREMELY high percentage of STD cases and thus they make the "whole industry" have a just "high percentage of STD cases"

this is just throwing random numbers(it does not show actual numbers) to show how is probably

1- regular people = .5% STD
2- people who do swing parties or has promiscuous life even while using protection = 1.2%
3- people who DO NOT use protection when they are very active = 5%
4- porn industry and Nevada brothels (legal) who do regular checks and such and demand protection= .7%
5- porn industry which allows barebacking = 20%

combining "clean porn industry" with "dirty porn industry" = most probably higher than number 3 but it would depend on what is ratio of "clean industry" and "dirty industry", and I am guessing there is a difference also between "USA industry" and "international industry"

there is a difference between "thinking it" and "saying it" (and that is what Gary said, that he has never said it)

plus

it can be argued that Yuki might be Gary's GF because she "imposed herself into it" just like her dad "imposed that she and Gary are engaged", and not because Gary has ACTUALLY made "the decision" that she is "the one", he might have taken the view that "she is only one interested in me, so she might as well be one I settled with"

Altho, no one else has been seen worrying about this EVER. Is it that they don't bother, or it is not dramatic enough that DaGiT have not bothered showing it? (Gary's first time was so dramatic that we saw everything in detail.)

Anyway, this is me over analyzing a sex farce again. Nice to see Gary get kicked out of an appartment with no clothes. A grand tradition in this story AND a learning experience for him! ;)

Well, I... What can I say, really? I've been saying I think Chanelle's the sexiest character in the webcomic for a while now, and now... well... The kneejerk response kind of detracts from that, for me. ^^; Thanks for giving us a last name to use for her, Giz, just in case. I think the chances are good that she cheated herself out of an SGR for the foreseeable future. And now I wonder whether LaRose every taught her friend the Amberlux Vacuum...

they get paid to have sex for a living. or to film people having sex for a living. or to choreograph people having sex for a living. or to organize the logistics of people having sex for a living. they are either having, watching, or thinking about sex for 6 to 8 hrs a day; how would they possibly manage to do that if they weren't hypersexualized.

that's like criticizing an engineer for being overly precise, or a writer for picking stories apart. when people do something a lot & put effort into understanding the task, it becomes part of how they experience and interact with the world around them.

I think the latter. Though more "not comic" than "not dramatic". The Kiley incident established that condoms do exist in the Ma3 world; now we just have to assume that they're being used out of frame. (Mostly just below the lower edge of the frame, in fact.)
