The quick flings. Not that I'm speaking out of experience. :? I mean, in a real relationship, at least in most cases, you are supposed to love, admire and cherish a lot of things about your SO which are more than skin-deep. If that person is not a fashion model but a wonderful person inside, with "inner beauty" (a bit of a cheesy statement), then the exterior is chrome... Even if you will be looking at that exterior a lot more often than in the quick fling case.

On the other hand, if you're randy and go into a bar to get a one-night stand, you'd better not be fat and pimply...

But like you said, Gary isn't that bad looking, if you don't count that he has no muscles but wears glasses, sure turn-off for quite many females...

Which is one reason why I thought he looked kind of hot in the last panel a few strips ago, where he's getting out of bed. No glasses. Also, I've never heard a girl state that they thought a bunch of muscles were hot. I know several girls, though, for whom scrawniness is a prerequisite for hotness... I... know too many of those...

Well considering that the same named friend and i sat around with a group of other friends and laughed uproariously at the pornographic film "Pirates" I would wager that she doesn't give a rat's behind not being as she's not a pansy and takes a joke as it's meant. I was a virgin until 21 and i got teased all the time, it was a good laugh personally.

Oi! I seem to recall mentioning that I was a virgin when I got married at age 32. It had nothing to do with my manliness or my looks or my willingness to approach people--although I will admit that until I met my wife, none of the ladies I approached were willing to date me, for one reason or another. (One had an incompatible schedule, one was in a long-distance relationship, one was trying to further her relationship with God--dodged a bullet on that one!--one was married already...) But I was a virgin by choice, dammit. I had more than one opportunity to pull a one-night-stand, and I refused. There are some of us out here who wanted their first time to be special, with the person they intend to spend the rest of their lives with.

You haven't seen me bashing other people's sex lives. Nor will you, because frankly their lives are their business. Yet not two pages after my admission of having been a 32 year old virgin, something like this crops up. I hate sounding judgmental, but... C'mon, people, there's enough strife in the world without trashing each other over silly things like virginity and when we lost it.

I'd have to partially agree with the previous poster...though I don't think that Zii is a total virgin, but perhaps a 'one-shot virgin'. She's had one experience, perhaps two, but neither has rocked her boat. Neither had any serious emotional impact as well... she strikes me more as a relationship virgin than a sexual one.

She's been surrounded by creeps, and now that she's met Gary (who's not a creep) - she's putting up a brave face and trying to knock him down/around to expose his inner creepness. <<He's got to be a creep - all men are creeps>>.

I'm thinking that Gary was about to ask "So..how long do we have to wait" in the 3rd panel. or something along those lines.

I think one critical difference is you're teasing a friend, and she's teasing somebody she barely knows.

And I refuse to use the small number of willing women available to me for those types of services, as a result of my strong and oft cursed moral fiber. Doing the right thing really sucks most of the time. Hell (and I just realized this), I've even developed an uncanny control over arousal/erections, even when my nuts are being felt up through my jeans by one of those aforementioned willing women. I'm not claiming to be either. I'm admittedly a virgin, and I believe I have a strong moral core. But those two things seem to attract the nuttiest people, as far as my experiences go. That was a circumstance in very limited space during a game (I'm part of a Manhunt group my friend admins at his college. It's like hide-and-seek tag in the dark) and she basically just groped my crotch as I was getting up to leave my spot after being found.
