This strip was awesome.
I love Zii's victory expression in panel two.
And then the Banzai.
And the eep.
It was all very well done.

Only SPF 4 ? This is madness!
If DiDi really is a real blonde, she'll get sunburned in no time!

And I must add, Zii's facial expressions are awesome in this comic. All four of them.

Wow... from timid lil' Gary, he's definitely got a bit of spunk to him when properly motivated, doesn't he? And yes, the SPF is likely insuficient... perhaps whomever the final winner is will convince Didi that it will help if multiple coats make the effects cumulative? That way they can apply the lotion over, and over, and over... (drool)

There is so much great in this comic. One of the overall best I think this strip has seen yet... at least, among those without the heavy helping of fan service. But my favorite aspect of it? The broken twig in Gary's hair, like some leafy Alfalfa haircut. Genius!

Which of the three owns the vehicle?

COOL! A Toyota Van! Given the nasty nature of Montreal winters, I'd guess it's the 4WD version.

More info on the van:

Comic from 2008-06-03:

Gary: "Wow. That was fast."
Zii: "My van was parked up front."

Next picture even shows the van.

This means Zii was probably driving when they went to the park. Now talk about DUI... ;)

PS.: This comic has some manga-flavoring to it, n'est ce pas??

Victory! - Banzai!- Epp... Classic funny! lol. Again Giz is the expression master in getting us all so wonderfully from one panel to the next. I admit, I was half expecting this comic to be comatose Gary, waking up with DiDi leant over him and then becomming comatose again for the next week as she forgot to put her bikini top back on... but heck, this one still made me laugh.

Its defiantely Zii's van as pointed out by Don with the comic referance. I agree about the lotion... only SPF 4? Hell, even here in England we're told to wear at least a SPF15 to prevent possible skin cancer and burning. Hell, if you go to the Coppertone site it even says that yet it doesn't sell anything above SPF 10  .

You're looking at the wrong part of the site...the 4-10 SPF are tanning lotions...the majority of what they have is 30-50.

And Didi did say it was 'lotion of bronzage'.
I swear I will, I'll make you smile.

I meant for tanning lotions. It said your still meant to have an SPF of 15.

edit: I wasted my 200th post of this without even noticing?

Well, with an SPF of 50, it would be 'lotion of ironage'... *snerk*

Okay, this should totally result in a wrestling match that turns into a good long snog between Gary and Zii and mild sunburn for Didi.

Nice.
Anti-Yuki till the grave claims me...

Kid Kool (1988) for the Nintendo Entertainment System is GROSSLY underrated. Sure the concept could've been presented a little better, but it doesn't deserve the hate it gets in some circles.

This comic makes so much awesome. Anything with a leaping "Bonzai!" is automatically a maker of awesome.
