No, I'm having a cow about the idiocy of nobody getting what they want in the characters (or really, nobody getting their depraved sense of justice filled in regards to a "fair" comeuppance for Zii...it's a comic....very little is "fair" in a comic universe).
This is not some gigantic symbolic (crappy) novel like The Grapes of Wrath.
The writing is excellent, but classic literature it ain't. It's meant for a laugh. I never understand why people analyze comics like they're reading Of Mice and Men. Do people do this to Superman too? Blegh.
Of course people are getting excitable about the story. People read fiction because it's better than real life. (This is due to the fact that fiction is controlled by the writer, but all we have in real life is a Director. Which is why the plot makes no sense.)
The point here is that (unless it's being deconstructed by an English Lit teacher who wants revenge on the world for refusing to buy his work because he has no talent) fiction has to meet a higher standard than real life.
I know it has nothing to do with the plot, but I want to say that pin up of Ambyr Ambyr is really cute and effective. Perhaps Giz could include a pin-up version of it in the next hard copy.

az its a bad idea to post stuff like this...
the forum is not to be belittled. Niether is the comic.
if anything. all this argueing, shows that people care a great deal about it and are passionate about it.
Just have to check it better but there will be times like this for every artistic medium.
I love all the chars, for their flaws, good and bad sides. Some more than others and get angry at certain one's for actions done.
Az is right though, it's just a comic, just like this is just a forum, like there are millions on this web. It stands out because of it's superb quality, general freedom and mutual agreement of following the rules (with a minor, but expected bump here and there), but it is still just a forum. And to be quite frank, jumping up, grabbing your pitchforks and yelling damnation because a character, you do not like, does something - without waiting for his reasons - is not passionate, it's just plain insanity. So, indeed, get over it.

*I had to add this; thought of it when I came back to see what the response was.
It also explains why the star of the show is the Director's girlfriend's illegitimate son.
Goodness you guys are aggressive. The worst thing I would do to someone who wrecked something of mine would be to make them pay for it. (Well, depending on the cost of the item in question and the motivation. Obviously I'd get more worked up about the destruction of something like my BJDs) A poster? I'd probably just stutter for a moment, insert a "WTF?", and then inform them that they're buying me a new one.
I'm really hoping that all of you that are promising bodily harm to anyone who would wreck a cheap poster are exagerating.
I'll say this, despite my original post's tone I'd never hurt someone physically for wrecking my stuff, but my fury over balantly destruction of my stuff would have them fearing I was going to do them bodily harm.
People are overreacting on both sides, it happens this's a web forum. Should we all be civil? Yes, but differing opinions rub and mesh at times, in non-civil manners.
However I'm amazed at how many here are letting go that Dillion regardless of "what" it is, whether it's valuble monetarily or not... they seem to be giving him a pass for destroying something of Gary's of his own volition.
So he gets a pass because "Its a porn poster who cares?" "Gary can buy a new one." "I'm sure he has a good reason." "Probably a set up for something."
Wow, that is, wow.
Trust me as I said in my one post I'd be if the tables were turned and it was anyone of us in Gary's shoes, we wouldn't be "cool" about it one damn bit. Even the most even tempered of person would look at Dillion and either tell him to start explaining, or ask him to vacate the area til the offendee deems he wants to even be spoken too by Dillion.
Now wishing bodily harm over a poster, yeah a bit much but I just shake my head at the overall unanimous dismissal of Dillion doing something jerkoffish to Gary, again. Who cares if Gary is the desginated butt-monkey of the comic, sometimes enough is enough.
Why do people get so butt-hurt over a fictional comic? D:
Sure, when I watch movies and there's a particular character that frustrates me, I remind myself it's just fucking fiction. The character exsists in fiction land. If I'm still annoyed, I go watch some cat videos on the inetrnet. Cheers me up right away!
That Guy wrote:I would like to voice my opinion upon this here latest:
Perhaps he destroyed the poster because Gary is a 29 year old and obsessively fawns over a pornographic pin-up.
Sure, he could have done so before, during his relentless pursuit of Gary- but he only did so now, after having befriended Amber.
Theory: Dillon is helping put into motion Gary's emergence from introvert geek and simultaneously dispensing some form of bizarre justice for Amber, trying to put her porno days behind her.
I'd also like to throw in that how vehemently some people react to these comics is.... curious.
This strip is played for laughs, people. I've been there before too, but- "If you can't laugh at yourself..."
But I still don't think its fair. The poster belongs to Gary. Therefore, Dillon had no right to destroy it. I thought he was better than all this petty bull crap!
It just bothers me! If Dillon wants attention, then he's no better than those teenager girls who pretend to be emos and write horribly bad fan fiction involving Harry Potter having sex with them. I'm starting to think that Dillon is letting his emotions get the better of him.

using cats as weapons is bad mmkay....
I still think this comic can be hilarious and annoying at the same time, which nullifies the annoying part for me.
This is not the greatest signature in the world, no. This is just a tribute.
