Kid Kool (1988) for the Nintendo Entertainment System is GROSSLY underrated. Sure the concept could've been presented a little better, but it doesn't deserve the hate it gets in some circles.

To be fair to comic-art-Yuki - while these two cosplayers are really, really good, "Yuki" just doesn't have as much hair as comic-art-Yuki. Hence, her ponytail is a bit of a token sprout, whereas comic-art-Yuki has a big, flamboyant, wacky-Japanese-teen ponytail, which would probably look impressive (if weird) in real life.Fen wrote:Damn, Yuki's ponytail looks as awful IRL as I always imagined it to look
The comic is entirely consistent in this, too; when we see Yuki with her hair down, she has a pretty spectacular mane.

I forced Jenni to cosplay Yuki very last minute. So while I had time to actually make something for my costume, she didn't. All inaccuracies can be blamed on me since I dressed and styled her.
As far as me being "too fit", this seriously cracks me up. An inaccuracy I will always be willing to have.
I think you guys take this more seriously than I do. ;P

Anyway, several outfits that are "not quite perfect" that you're wearing because it's fun are better than one "perfect outfit" (with you still obsessing over whether some detail is exactly right). If you aren't having fun wearing it, the 'perfect' outfit isn't really that great.
(OK, I've rephrased this a couple of times and it still doesn't sound quite right. I'll just have to apply the 'not-quite-perfect' rule myself and let it go.)
