Thank you for the years and years of wonderful artwork, Ms. Giz. ^_^
Well, then… that was it.
Until the next comic is upon us. I'm curious to see what it will be like.

Re: 09-04-19 Dynamite
A satisfying ending to Pixie Trix's first and longest-running comic. I could nitpick about my preference for Gary/Kiley as endgame pairing, or my wish we could've seen Eulice one last time (with, say, Gary nervously assuring her she'd still receive the full rent every month despite Zii leaving). But the important thing is that everyone got a happy ending (and I agree with Spidrift we can assume Kiley is happy too). Also, much of the cast really did grow over the course of the series, most especially Gary, Zii and Peggy. (I know Zii has had many detractors, but she's always been one of my favourites from the beginning. Sexy, [usually] self-confident bi rocker girls, represent! *throws horns* What can I say; I tend to gravitate towards controversial characters, e.g. Lisa of Penny and Aggie.)
The relatively loose structure of Ma3 benefitted the comic in the end. Unlike certain other Pixie Trix comics, it wasn't limited to a single overarching plot, but was more character-based with mostly short arcs. So Dave's tendency to meander here and there in his writing didn't derail the comic from its original "sexy, HBO-style romantic comedy" premise, the way that tendency derailed the Dangerously Chloe plot for over two years (in addition to sidelining the title character for nearly as long). Nor did the frequent delays from Kickstarters and Gisele's outside creative commitments spoil Ma3's momentum, as they spoiled that of Magick Chicks. (Sandra on the Rocks and especially Sticky Dilly Buns were also more character-based and episodic, with Eerie Cuties falling somewhere in between "overarching plot" and "episodic character-based", so those three comics also more or less stayed on-mission.)
Most of all I want to thank Gisele and Dave for over ten years of sexy Montreal-based fun, and I eagerly await the spinoff coming Thursday.

Re: 09-04-19 Dynamite
And thus it ends. Just like it started, with all the right messages. Both MA3 and DC. A positive vision of sex, and of all things sexual, and of all characters who freely enjoy their sexuality. Even if they are promiscuous. Even if they are cheaters. Even if they are children. Even if they are demons from hell, lol. Well done. To the very end, Giz and Dave kept on doing their own thing, completely ignoring the fundies and loonies who polluted the forum with their trollery. (I admit it: I laughed heartily at the scene of succubized Abby, right on the sofa with the other girls, watching the live porn stream of her brother and Chloe shagging like minks. Hah.)
And, actually, when I say "ignoring the loonies" I mean it in the old obsolete sense. This is a little tidbit of information that you may not know about: Giz and Dave don't give a flaming rat's ass about the forum. Harsh, but true. Giz and Dave don't read the forum, don't care about the opinions of the people who write here and don't pay attention to their messages, praises or flames. I've had confirmation from Giz herself -- she wrote to me (in reply to a pm) and stated it candidly:

Of course, this also explains why the trolls and haters in the forum had so little success when they tried to pressure the creative team. People like Fluffy or Error of Logic practically spend their lives glued to their screens, posting huge bricks of text to bash the comic and denounce the evils of the authors... and they are systematically ignored, as if they weren't there. Of course, knowing that Giz and Dave have never ever read their messages, this comes as no surprise. I kinda wonder, though: do these little trolls know the truth? How would they feel if they knew they have wasted years of their lives writing here, trying to influence Giz & Dave, for nothing? Oh, the schadenfreude of it all.
This was fun. It was fun while it lasted, and it'll be fun on future rereads. Thank you, Giz and Dave, for your hard work -- for staying true to yourselves all along, and creating real comic masterpieces.

We, the old ghosts of Pizen Bluff, who still roam about this dead forum screaming imprecations at the characters and whatnot.

Oh, Vitocap.
I think it's a shame you couldn't just come back to say you'd enjoyed the comics.
Of course the creative team isn't going to take their cues from a discussion forum. You'd need a very special kind of arrogance to think they would, and I doubt very much that any of the regular posters ever had it.
But this forum is meant to be a place where people can freely (within reasonable limits) discuss the team's creation, share their own opinions and discuss things. Sometimes, we're going to disagree. It happens. Making personal attacks like this, though, that's just a waste. Especially now, when the current comics are ending.
If this is really the best way you can think of to celebrate years upon years of stories and discussion, I feel sorry for you. Especially since you apparently felt the need to copy-paste your own 'block of text' into both the Ma3- and DC-forums.

Didn't Yuki change the locks back in Book 3?

Re: 09-04-19 Dynamite
I haven't been active in the forum much in the past couple years, but I've been reading the comic and been in the community here since it started. I remember burning through Cool Cat Studio and Penny and Aggie after starting Má3, and I've always loved the art style and writing in these comics. It's been really fun to follow along and support. Thank you Giz and Dave! I look forward to the next story!

I know Izzy did more recently
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Canon error detected.
Begin Fan Wank?
Countdown until the creative team handwaves the canon error by mentioning that Gary changed the lock back to the original lock off-panel.

Re: 09-04-19 Dynamite
It occurs to me that one small loose end exists; Tracy and James. I mean, I can imagine what happened there — mostly involving a lot of semi-failed attempts to make up with lots of energetic make-up sex, and then eventually Tracy tells James about her second job, which leads to him working through his wacky women-on-pedestals issue — but it would have been neater if they’d had at least one last panel.Alice Macher wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 5:56 pmBut the important thing is that everyone got a happy ending (and I agree with Spidrift we can assume Kiley is happy too).
I imagine that Zii and Angel are fighting over the band name even as they hit the stage on the first night of the tour.
Indeed. But as someone who got a public (and perfectly polite) response from Giz to one of my posts only a few days ago, I’m going to treat “Giz and Dave never read the forums” claims with amusement.Error of Logic wrote: ↑Tue Apr 09, 2019 8:49 pmOf course the creative team isn't going to take their cues from a discussion forum. Oh, and the Kickstarter is 60% of the way to its goal after about half a day.

Silly me! I forgot to also thank Dave! It's his sick and twisted mind that wrote out the story in the first place!
Thanks, Dave!
