Discussion about Arpeggio of Blue Steel.

So how was the Ars Nova anime adaptation to you?

And how many manga volumes of Arpeggio of Blue Steel will be release this year?

I just notice a mistake in the synopsis.
In the year 2039, the stalwart Captain Chihaya Gunzou ...
This is actually incorrect. 2039 was the year when the Fleet of Fog defeated the world's naval forces. Arpeggio of Blue Steel is currently set in 2056 according to the official guide book. I hope you guys can correct this mistake before printing.

Just a website blurb typo (thanks for pointing it out). It's been fixed and doesn't reflect any actual interior content.

Any reason why the ships would have the wrong ship classes to begin with? o_O

When Crunchyroll streamed the Ars Nova anime, they gave the ships incorrect classes . (eg. Nagara is called a battleship when Nagara is actually a light cruiser and Hyuuga being called a "fast battleship" (the historical ship wasn't) despite the actual term used in-series being dai senkan, literally great battleship or dreadnought. )

If I read this correctly, Ar Peggio of blue steel manga is coming to usa this year in June or July?
http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/20 ... ches-manga

I never thought this manga would get brought over to usa. I was so confident it won't happen so I ordered volumes 1-3 from japan to ease my rather severe case of butthurt over lack of ar peggio of blue steel manga in usa.

Oh just thought to check this website.

As for the anime.. its animation style wasn't what I expected but fits in pretty perfectly.
Like it alot.
Pew pew is good.

There's zero hope for Freezing. 8 volumes is way different than 20+. @_@

Well, look it like this, at least u have eneugh space between releases that way, preventing u from being completely dependent on the japanese release schedules like u are now with Dance in the Vampire Bund and A Certain Scientific Railgun.

Besides, Freezing is a Battle manga, so those usually read away faster anyhow, thus asking for faster releases ;)

Heh, somehow this comment is't up to date anymore if i'm to believe the series listing on the Seven Seas site ;)
Anyway, i'm loving the volumes of Arpeggio of Blue Steel so far and can't wait for all the new ones :)
