Touhou 10.5 - Scarlet Weather Rhapsody is pretty good, as is Melty Blood Act CADENZA.

A doujin fighter got released for free recently called Vanguard Princess. Might wanna check that one out.

Is there an english patch for SWR? I tried to find one, and all I could get was the English translation for the navigation menus, but Ideally I'd be able to get a translation for the pause menu (which has controls and cancellations and other very important info) as well as a translation for the dialogue/story stuff.

I haven't tried Melty Blood yet, but I'm having trouble with the Touhou fighting game style. I think the use of the keyboard for directional commands is throwing me off. And the projectile-heavy method of play. I don't understand the mechanics of story mode at all in Immaterial and Missing Power.

In other news, Shoot the Bullet is hilarious. And fun. Even though I totally suck at it.

Not that I know of, but you might look around and find one.

I never played Immaterial and Missing Power, just Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. As for the style of play, it's a lot different from other fighters, yeah.

Also, f*ck no, doujinstyle is broken.

But f*ck yeah, deep crow vs. tengu possibilities. Even though this will probably be on hold for a good amount of time as I wait impatiently for an English patch.

And finally: f*ck Touhou for finally busting the "z" button on my keyboard. Now it clicks funnily if I rub it.
