Yeah, same with me! And don't worry, Melissa, I got the "anime" reference the first time! Don't worry about your misspelling, we all make mistakes!

Why are you writing in caps?

Oh and anime affects my dreams every so often.

Really? Almost all of my dreams are anime or game related, usually because I read manga or watch anime or play games right before I go to sleep.

For me, its mostly a hobby. Although, I am a bit of a closet case about it. I don't like to talk about it in public (except with insiders like Nick or my classmate Abigail), nor do I like to read manga at school.

Its just... awkward. I am out in the open about reading "normal" comic books, though.

I guess you could say that.

See, enough people at my school like/know about manga and anime and crap, so no one really cares if you're reading a book "backwards".

Well, like four of my friends have the ultra-annoying habit of either randomly hugging me (... I'm male. They're male. Count me confused. Or count them sexually confused.) or reading over my shoulder. Not to mention I somehow always attract a crowd of other people when I'm reading, and it makes me embarrassed. >>

Hey hey, don't worry about it, Dawn. I'm a closet case, too. Except that no one would read over my shoulder, they'd just ostracize me. I am of a rare breed at my school. Academically motivated, socially involved, AND a geek. It just doesn't work for most people.

So yeah, I keep the anime and manga to myself, mostly.

Yeah, I love it as a hobby too but I can thank it for inspiring me to draw. I know a lot of people who like anime and manga but they're always so shy to bring it up in public.

Yeah. I get excellent grades, am rather approachable (compared to my pretty weirdo friends. >>), and yet... a giant nerd.

It feels good sometimes (and yet so awkward) to talk anime and manga with the School Asians (as I call them), though.
