Well, I'll give them a boost. I hoping I find season 5 better then 4, so I'm going to Disney Springs (formally Downtown Disney because you know they love to change names for no reason) for the 730 premier. BTW trailer ... RWBY

Went to see it and will say this .... WORTH IT!

I get why they moved the basic viewing time back two days, why become a RT First member if you only have to wait a day? But man if only they could release it at Midnight EST. I'm at work by 10 am. What am I supposed to do? Watch it on my lunch break like some neanderthal?!

Glad to hear it's doing well so far, but Volume 4 Episode 1 was great too and look how quickly things became silly and boring.

Okay not quite. Good start. Touched on all the main hero types. Team RWBY's paths are still divergent at this time. Very interested is seeing Yang's meeting with Raven. Still amuses me Raven's name is basically Raven White Raven. Interested to find out how, exactly, Ozpin got himself attached to Oscar. Still wondering where Neo is. After her not showing up for the entirety of Volume Four, I'm going to be super pissed if she doesn't show up in Volume 5, too. Neo is Best Girl.

Our local con (Questcon) had the VAs for Blake (and Dr Grey; Arryn Zech), Pyrrha (Anne Carolina & Erid; Jen Brown), and Winter (and Nikki; Elizabeth Maxwell). Here are some highlights from the RWBY Panel they were on:

Arryn talked about how it was hard to do the Chibi episode with the book signing. She had not done ‘excited’ Blake before. She said she kept getting too close to Dr Grey at first. Jen said she had the same kind of issues doing happy Carolina.

Jen said her favorite RT voice job was Gram Gram from Camp Camp. But overall, she loved being in Day 5 and being on screen (and getting to shoot a Sheen).

Elizabeth Maxwell adores Nikki, but does enjoy Winter.

Winter’s “Silence you Boob!” Took multi takes because Elizabeth kept cracking in the recording booth.

Jen said, even knowing that Pyrrha would die from day one, and was okay recording that scene, but seeing it on screen…

Somebody asked about sloth noises. Arryn found a video of a baby sloth, and played it into the mike. Then Jen started copying it.

Jen hasn’t gotten her Pumpkim Pete box yet, but just got the shipping info request from FYI and is excited.

Jen has an adorable cackle when she’s excited.

Also visited them in the autograph room, first time buying autographs, and all three were wonderful and approachable.

As for the show, the new release schedule is First members on Saturday, non-paying RT site members on Tuesday, which is new, and YouTube the following Saturday. So, you can see it for free on Tuesdays. But they normally offer a free 30 day trial of First membership, and the yearly ain’t bad.

As for episode 2: I am even more intrigued by Hazel. What is his game and goals? And: So, Watts has been given the task of crafting Tyrian a new tail, with Salem giving him a subtle “Don’t underestimate the girl” in the process. But Salem knows now that Tyrian was wrong about taking out Qrow, and is about to discuss that issue with him...

How are you getting these episode 2 sneak peeks?

The episode released to First members yesterday morning. It will be available to non-paying people with RT accounts Tuesday.

I just started discussion on Episode 1 because it looked like no one else was going to do so.

Overall, the start of the Volume looks good. Getting some interesting look at members of 'WTCH' so far. Glad that they are a variety of different kinds of villains.
