Forgot about that one. Could see it working too, with Big Mac being a good grounding element for Twilight. And you got to admit, that little touch in Lesson Zero was a big hint...

They do when they flat out refuse to accept anything contrary to their idea. The Harry/Hermione twits who screamed at JKR are an example of that. To me, it doesn't matter if canon refutes any of my ideas or ignores them. I just roll with what happens.

ehhh couldn't warm up to Celestia. But then I have an ingrained aversion to Royalty...But I like Luna.... 8-}

She does. Just most of it apparently isn't here. As for me I like her lots and I never cared about those memes, but there are simply other characters that I like more. Also, primary characters get like a +20 bonus to rolls vs secondary characters. ;)
