I got to say, I've really been enjoying Starlight as an addition to the main cast. At first I was rather worried she was going to be an excuse to just rehash old friendship lessons, but so far they've been avoiding that and breaking new ground. I especially enjoyed this latest one and it's take on forgiveness and actually giving someone a second chance. Plus, Starlight is just amusing with her dry snark and occasional slip backs towards her villainous self (Magically compelling Big Mac to talk for example). I love that they didn't just forget about her past, and that she herself even brings up her own evil deeds in casual conversation. Her and Trixie's personalities play off each other especially well.

Lighthawk...I definitely enjoy Starlight's addition to the show. I think that they were starting to strain the show a bit prior to her addition, and she's helped to keep the show fresh. To be honest, I've always believed a show needs to rotate heir cast after a while.
On a side note...I finally found the Starlight toy in the store

Agreed, I think they were running out of ideas for the original cast to a bit. Plus it's just nice to have an anti-hero main character, or at least as close to one as this show can allow. Dash occasionally toed the line of anti-hero, but Starlight fully dives into it.
And they're not toys, they're collector's items...
