AHA!!! Just remembered why this rings a bell: Somewhere out there is a comic (in fact, it may have been posted in this thread) about Applebloom & Scootaloo pulling a prank on Sweetie Belle. It involves making her think she's gotten her Cutie Mark. I'm sure everyone here can guess where that's going. ;)

EDIT!! I've combed through fifty pages of this thread & still can't find it. So tired...so very tired. (-| Have a couple of fad responses: Ponies move like Jagger.

OK, so I decided to do one more hit of Facebook before bed & found this warning from EQD (via some groups of which I'm a member). As Sethisto says, have some copypaste:
Sethisto wrote:I don't usually post things like this. You are all free to enjoy pony however you wish, and talk to whoever you want about it. Enough people have convinced me that a small warning would do us all some good in this case though.

A show called My Crazy Obsession is sending a reporter around looking for someone with a huge pony collection. They are visiting various forums/communities hoping to find the perfect target, dropping messages similar to this:

Hi Everybody,

I am casting a show for TLC about people with unique collections or obsessions. I found this forum and wanted to get in touch with anybody who has the most amazing My Little Pony collection to see if they'd be interested in sharing their story on our show. Please shoot me an email if this sounds like something you'd like to be a part of. Hope to hear from some of you!

My Crazy Obsession has never been about showing people in a positive light. The crazier the better. It makes good TV, we can't blame them for that! If you do own a larger than average pony collection, I would recommend avoiding it like the plague though. I might even run a "show off your pony collection" event in the near future if you want to brag.

Again, it's up to you! This was just to give you guys an idea on what exactly the show is.

And an excuse to post Trixie.
Why couldn't it have been Fanboy Confessional instead?? :ymtongue: Stupid everything.

Well, as I own no ponies what-so-ever, I think I'm safe from any asshattery they may dispense. :p

I know all too well how the media can spin something that is relatively harmless into a DEFCON 2 panic.

Hey MMD, what's the Space Channel? Is it Syfy (pardon me, but I still gag a little when I have to write out this ridiculous modernization of the Sci Fi Channel) somewhere outside the U.S.?

Space is Canada's science fiction and fantasy channel (used to have a good amount of horror, too, but the same company also owns Scream, a horror, thriller, and suspense channel, so not as much any more). Used to be owned by the same company as CityTV, CHUM radio, and MuchMusic, but since CHUMCity was acquired by CTV, I'm not sure if all the channels are still owned by the same company any more.
I swear I will, I'll make you smile.

Original fiction by Neko: Heroes of Angel City (now in convenient (and edited) ebook form!). Kuchisake.
