Welp, they weren't kidding when they said Luna's return episode would be "epic".

I'm sure it will be up on youtube within a day.
EDIT: Blasted ninjas.
I just hope Luna's characterization makes sense.

...I should probably go watch the episode now, before making any more spoiler-based jokes about it.
EDIT:
Epic, yes... that's one description for it. I'm just wondering how many fanfiction universes have been obliterated by this one episode.Welp, they weren't kidding when they said Luna's return episode would be "epic".

Re: MLP
About halfway through... love Twilight channeling Hermoine when Spike didn't recognize her costume... "Did you read that book on obscure wizards?"
ETA: Finished it. Was cute. Gotta wonder what Celestia has been doing with her sister the past year, though.

Re: MLP
Good episode, but like others I'm wondering why Celestia hadn't already brought Luna up to speed. A couple of possibilities:

Re: MLP
Another possibility is that when Luna came back, they fell back into their old roles, and maybe they simply don't see much of each other.

Re: MLP
@Ravenhull: I've sometimes wondered if Luna is nocturnal. It does seem reasonable to think that the goddesses of day and night may not see much of each other.
One thing I liked about this episode that I wish could've gotten a little more screen time:
The episode-related meme images are already rolling in. I'm surprised not to see more for "The fun has been doubled!" but these are pretty good:

Re: MLP
So... can Luna show up more often now? Unlike many shows, I think this episode showed quite well that having a character with godlike powers on the cast doesn't mean they can easily solve every problem. At least not since they're friendship problems rather than physical ones.

Yep, the meme's are flowing:
And Loren regarding Rarity in this episode:
