I’ve actually heard of something like that (and seen a youtube video)! It didn’t have anything to do with putting actual circuit boards in a game boy… It was just a homebrewed program written to run an iPod like program on a Nintendo DS.
Although, I don’t understand the purpose either… Maybe if you bought a Game Boy for Christmas and couldn’t afford to buy an iPod too? I know I couldn’t afford both at the same time…
