Is Aoi pronounced like yaoi, or like ae-o-ee? I have only read a little bit, so I ask this.

"Ah-oh-ee" is the true way to say it. [Yes, like yaoi, but without the y.]

OR you can just say, "Owwie," like you hurt yourself.

The "AE" sound as used in "Aeon Flux" would be the incorrect way to say it. The 'a' would be an "ah" sound. ^_-
