There's actually a reason for that...
At one point during the original webmanga, I was going to have Alex and Sandy actually go to the Aoi House website and fill out an application online. The girls would have just assumed the guys were girls, let them join and then freak out once they found out.
I never actually wrote that scene because it just never fit. If this were a movie, that scene would have been cut because it just delays things and isn't really necessary.

A lot of the names in Aoi House actually comes from TV shows, comics and video games. Some where just randomly chosen because they sounded good and matched the personality I was going for, but some actually do come from or are based on something.
Hmm, I should probably write about this in Monday's Aoi Notes since I've never mentioned it before.
