I reccomend minimal direct contact with zombies or their parts until we know if the disease can be spread through blood like hepatitus as well as through bites. I also want to know if animals are affected by the disease, and if the disease dies in extreme tempratures.

Upon returning to the stronghold, Jay takes note of the new fortifications, grabbing and pulling on them to feel if they move. He nods to the build team "Well done, these will hold for the night."

He pauses upon seeing the first large group of bodies however, begins taking a mental tally, and walks through the entire building. At the site of the more significant engagements he pulls out a pad and makes a basic sketch of the scene, noting the disposition of corpses, where the team was standing, and bullet holes that may indicate stray shots. Along the way he picks up a phone book from one of the apartments.

He stops to speak with each of the combat team as he finds them, "You've done fantastically today under terrible circumstances. Be proud." To the doctors he says "An autopsy would be an excellent starting point for medical research, but I suggest waiting until we can establish properly sanitary conditions. I would personally like to begin behavioral research on an active subject, but at the moment our primary concern needs to be finding a more secure location. If anyone needs me, I'll be consolidating my notes into a proper map of the area."

i suggest that for day 2 we split into two groups, a small one to sanitize our current building & collect uncatalogued supplies, and a large one to thoroughly scout out more secure locations too move to. we can keep this place in reserve as a fallback position in case of emergencies. i can work up preliminary mission plans once we get the map.

I don't want to be touching bodies with a cut on my hand, and I know what to look for in a stronghold... I will go with the second group. Harry should stay here.

Jay, let me look at that cut. I think it's best if we nip all minor injuries in the bud to prevent infection.

Dr. Duvall, Jay is uninjured, and my cut is minor and has been treated. It doesn't really require your attention. I just don't want anything weird getting in through it. You seem a little stressed, you should go to sleep.

Alright, you're the doctor...

Tommorrow is going to be a pretty big day for everyone though, especially if you intend to autopsy the zombies.

You needn't worry about me. Just because I'm a woman doesn't mean I can't handle myself like a man.

Ah i got a bit over-enthusiastic..we dont have quite the facilities, tools and supplies to analyze the bodies, stuff like containers to store organs, proper cutting and protective gear.

There's no lack of supply in terms of zombies though, we can carry out the autopsy's when we're ready.

Sean's picks up on Duvall looking at him, his perception picks up on..[thoughts]definately taking stock of me for some reason... because of interest? no wait damn..iám an idiot i was just speaking for the both of you, that must be why..maybe..[/thoughts]

If you dont mind me saying so, Miss Duvall, erm Mrs? Docter..Dr Duvall..

fluster

I would never even suggest such a thing, Dr. Duvall

(thoughts) So she is sensitive about her gender... I can use that...

Yes Mr. Himmlisch? And no Mrs. I'm not married. And you don't always have be so formal. Call me Veronica or even Ronnie if you liked. Now what can I do for you?

Have I made him nervous? I can't understand why. Okay, I can understand just a bit. Either way he's noticed I've payed attention to him. At least I know my looks haven't vanished along with half the human race. Maybe this won't be so boring after all.

Thanks..Ronnie. Erm the mission we did, we made a basic map...

There's lots of places with promise for loot

We need supplies and tools. Improve the defenses d and do something with our two new floors There's an appliance store right across the road and a furniture store somewhere

I wouldn't mind clearing out the pizza store across the lot there. It's a short distance from and will have food as well as a way to prepare it. If we could kill all the zombies inside, and get rid of their bodies, we would have plenty of food for a while. Even if there isn't any power for the ovens, we should be able to light a small fire somewhere...

All of those are great ideas. An appliance store could be handy. Too bad there isn't a pharmacy close to us. Those could be extremely helpful as well.
