I think the no reflection thing is due to not having a soul, though interpretations vary. Given that vamps in this universe seem to reproduce sexually instead of through undeath, they probably have souls of their own.

That, or the Easter thing.

Maybe what's going on is something different? Maybe the Hex girls are from a different (possibly Human) school, and that mirror is a window into a mirror somewhere in Nina's school?
