Pheromone Delivery System. Interesting concept. While it may not seem necessary for a creature of such beauty like the succubus, looks alone can not guarantee procuring a mortal man every single time. No, some "Love Voodoo" would have to be used to seal the deal, to crush any possibility of the target man resisting.
The reason these are created through hiccups likely has a lot to do with Chloe's young age. She simply doesn't have the adequate experience necessary to effectively control such systems, so instead of focusing it on a man she wants, she's just letting the bubbles out randomly. Between Chloe's lack of confidence in herself and the possibility that her mother, the only person who could teach her the proper way to use the bubbles, might be dead, I think it might be many a while before she learns to effectively use the bubbles, which is no doubt the first of many Succubus powers that will brought to light.

Or... It might be that these pheromones also leak around succubi, and that the succubus' beauty is not a 'competitor' to them but rather a consequence of them. Maybe even, being magical things to boot, succubus pheromones tend to seep through the Net and reach us, and actually Giz did not draw Chloe like this at all...

Personally I think the professor is a Dryad, perhaps bound to one of the trees on the property. And perhaps her degree is in bio-chemisty, that would make sense.

I'm imagining the look on Chloe's face with wolf-pup professing such adoration to her as she's leaving the lady's room.
