Apparently they are affected. Remember back in the first comics Layla warning Nina that if they strayed out of the mystic protections of the schoolgrounds, it would be vampire flambe.

As for my first impression of the Delacroixs, It's seems Nina takes after Eugene and Layla takes after Maria. Figuring I'm getting some Addams Family/The Munsters vibes, I wonder what Eleanor is.

Ah, but what about Nina? Being an Easter vampire has given her unique attributes, and I wonder if immunity to the sun might be one of them. It seems in keeping with everything so far.

I'm assuming its because Vampires are normally noctunal, so what with them having to go to school during teh day, it means that they have to sleep at night instead of being up and about.
