Who is responsible for keeping the Keyword sections update and correct? Asking Giz or other to answer as keywords are useful tool for readers to reference some strip we remember and remember it by a particular character that was in that strip. Cassandra not having much issue with Keywords for DC but other strips seem to be lacking updating of keywords.

Giz wrote:Depends on your goal, I guess. If you want to draw a comic that's more newspaper style, you can get away with art that's not as technical or detailed. If you want to draw action, then that's gonna take a little longer. Honestly, if you're doing a webcomic, just start it and draw. There's no better practice. For me, I think I had to draw my run on P&A to get to where I wanted to be, so that's a lot of pages.
Thank you for your prompt reply, Giz!

I just thought about something, it hasn't been said whether Anastasia was a witch, or simply a human wiho practiced witchcraft. Or was it just plain 'ol magic, like the Magic Cadets at Artemis? :-\

I don't see why not, since there isn't any discernible difference between witchcraft and magic. Jacqui even lampshaded it herself... and she's a witch.

Sure, we know Mel has cryptid blood and we know Ana isn't exactly human as she currently is. I'm talking about before then. As in, back when Ana was in highschool.

The closest analogy I can think of would be Sophitia, from 'Soul Calibur'. She's human, but during her battle with Cervantes, she shattered one of the Soul Edge swords; sending some of the shrapnel into her body. That tainted her blood, but Sophtia was still said to be human. Fast forward 9 years later, where she's had a son and daughter. Between the two, her daughter was the one who inherited her cursed blood.

What I'm wonder is: was Ana human prior to stranding herself in the Shadow Realm, but came back as something more?

Think about it: she laughed off being run through with a magic sword and was barely effected by being shot point-blank in the face by a pair of magitech pistols. That ain't normal, 'cuz I'm pretty sure injuries of that nature would be fatal to the Hellrunes, or anyone else for that matter. Rain nearly killed empowered Cerise with a regular sword.

Frankly, I'm not sure what Ana is, but I doubt she could do that back in highschool.

So, is the Ma3 KS - especially the stretch goals - going to have any (further) effect on the *Cverse schedule? With EC strips mostly going up blueline/uninked of late (and staying so), and the MC schedule carooning out of control through space, Shouri in particular seems to be struggling to keep up. So with the commissions to be drawn and coloured, plus a nine to twelve page Gary dream strip, plus an eight or nine page Ruby page strip (I presume Eisu will be doing the Sandra one, although it doesn't explicitly say), well... I realise those aren't deadlined for the immediate future, but when it's on top of existing schedule troubles, it doesn't seem good for the *C strips.

I only got one response on Twitter ...
Cranium ‏@Cranium0 · Aug 5
@PixieTrixComix Is Magic Chicks only updated 4x a month now?

PixieTrixComix ‏@PixieTrixComix · Aug 5
@Cranium0 All comics will return to their normal schedules once Gisèle and Shouri wrap up the book print files.

But not ETA when that will occur. So I guess we all wait. Only expecting stuff for DC and Sandra on the Rock to be more or less on schedule. At least till Cassandra returns back to school (then updates may be a bit erratic for DC again?).

Shouri has been busy with other stuff not related to Pixie, and she helped me run the Kickstarter. At some point, she had to cut somewhere. The C-verse will more than likely see some filler strips later in the month as we'll be signing lots of books and will start to mail stuff out. The Ma3-verse may see some filler strips too. We'll do what we humanly can. We should be back on track in September and go from there. As for the bonus stuff from the Kickstarter, it's easier to produce in the cold Winter months.

Gotta ask, whose idea was it to bring back a onepanel character from four years ago? And why her?

Assuming Alchemy? Dave sure has the answer but will he post one? I have asked before what the names of unnamed characters are and got no answer. It likely back in the day she had no name, just some filler character. If every character had a name it be nice to have them in keywords. After all Tabitha has yet to have her name attached to her first two appearances.

I'm pretty sure vhd realises there was no plan for petition-girl back in the day. He's wondering why they resurrected her as Alchemy rather than making an all-new character (design).

I don't see any problem with it. They've touched up the design and given her a name and personality. Alchemy could turn out to be another interesting character, given time and proper development.

It worked for Kiley, in 'Má3'.

So can we have clear cut answer on Alchemy's Gender.

You're choice of terminology seems to be more needlessly confusing then anything.
