Question for Gisele: Now that Manga Studio EX5 has come out, did you upgrade, or are you still using Manga Studio EX4?

If I may answer on the artists behalf....
The blue pencil is used before actual black ink is used to do the roughing-in work. You can draw over the blue pencil lines quite easily. When you photo-scan the artwork, the blue lines do not come through (if you have the filter turned on)
It's like photocopying a book you highlight with yellow marker. It won't show up either.

Aaaaah, OK. Thank you.
So it could also work with a red pencil, if you use the correct filter ?

We draw everything digitally, so there's no need for any kind of scanning involved. We post blue pages so people notice the difference between a penciled page and a finished inked + toned page.
We still use MangaStudio EX 4.

How come lately the Monday strips are always the unfinished blue while the wednes day strips are finished? Is Shouri's new comics job schedule somehow falling in conflict with monday?
Not complaining. Just curious.

Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

It's a little bit of that. I'm also to blame for being at the last minute with everything.vampire hunter D wrote:How come lately the Monday strips are always the unfinished blue while the wednes day strips are finished? I searched this thread and not see what the day to day font used for text of speech balloons. Or perhaps I missed it cause I used 'font' as search subject. So what is the day to day font the comics is used?

Is the private message feature of forum turned off?
What advantage of "friend" status? (I know foe makes person show as ignored in forum when that person posts).

Eerie Cuties -- fang length?
Just out of curiosity, is there any estimations as to the fang length of Nina or her other family members we've seen so far? They're not "sabretooth tiger"-people like a lot of vampires in anime or modern horror movies; Nina, for example, I would guess has incisors a centimeter longer than normal. What would be your guess?

Eerie Cuties uses Meanwhile, while Magick Chicks and Dangerously Chloe use Kiss & Tell. Both are from Comicraft. Blair's font is also Meanwhile, but the uncial version of it.Cranium wrote:I searched this thread and not see what the day to day font used for text of speech balloons.
