Is this comic inspired by "Rosario + Vampire"?

A little bit. Rosario is more action though and follows a male lead (in general.) EC will be more on the cute side than the action side, and wont follow a main lead (in the long run.) Horror also won't be dealt with in the same way. Rosario almost feels like a superhero book sometimes. It's not what I'm going for. If you're familiar with Japanese 4-koma, it's closer to that in feel with horror mixed in.

You're making it sound like Yokai Gakuenki (a 4-koma about a monster school), now... Only there's not so much horror in YG.

... I'd love if this turned out like Yokai Gakuenki.

That's a new one on me. I'll look it up for sure. 4-koma strips were my main inspiration for EC. Love most of the stuff Yen press is putting out. Hoping they pick up K-ON! as well.

However, most 4-koma's don't feature many males in the cast. I do want more in EC.

YG is no exception, BTW...there's only one major male character, a Hitotsume-kozo (although their teacher shows up, occasionally, and there's a brief appearance by a western Vampire). (To be expected, though, it was scanlated by a yuri-focussed group.)

Hmmn... Is this going to be a 16+ comic or something suitable for a younger audience?

I ask this mainly because if it starts attracting a younger audience, and they start coming to this forum, we may have to think about marking the MA3 and General Discussion forums as 16+, and/or even consider toning back some of the discussion there.

I'm aiming for 13+. But since lots of people rate Ma3 18+, maybe EC will actually be a 16+ in their books. Hard to say. I'll play it by ear for the month of June. I'll add the 13+ rating on the homepage for the next update.

Technically yes and no...

Ma3 will continue as always being Tues-Thur-Sat updates, while EC will be Monday-Weds-every 2nd Friday so that Giz can have a break. So this week EC will update again on Friday, but next week, there won't be a friday update, but the week after there will be and so on. At least this is the current plan.

That might be true for the manga, but the anime was all about panties.
