Not by anything that any of the characters have said. They always refer to it, simply, as 'the dance'. No indication what it's FOR.

Further evidence that it's not nearly Nina's birthday - for them to be there already, they'd have to have skipped almost the entire school year, as only Vampire's Best Friend has taken place over more than one day (I'd thought that And They Called it Kitty Love may have as well, but a quick skim of the arc has said otherwise). 10 chapters, covering about 11 days. Several of them clearly consecutive with each other, but unclear in relation to others.

It's possible they've jumped ahead to Easter already, but I really doubt they'd squander an entire year's worth of story possibilities.

Keep in Mind " Big Girl's" started in July. That all happen in a day anf this chapter is most likely the same night. When ML3 hit it's two year aniverery it was mentioned that two months had passed in the comic. If anything EC is moving even slower than that., not that I am complaining.
