..I'm gonna miss you guys. It was really fun reading all of PixieTrix with all of you, ups and downs included. It's weird to think I've spent so much time with so very many of you through EC/DC/MC/MA3/SDB/SOTR forums that it eclipses the length of some of my irl relationships! Thanks for being here to the (bitter? xD) end, and I appreciated the presence of the good, the bad, and the sour.

*tips hat* :)

Well, the next story is coming soon. ^_^ We might be talking to each other for a while yet.

By the title of the next series, is it safe to say it'll focus on Jung?

I’ll bet it swirls around Jung centrally, but my gut feeling is that this new comic is, like, a consolidation. Easier to manage one comic than three. We’ll fold Ma3 and SDB together into the same plot, and later when Sandra on the Rocks ends, she’ll get involved too.

That would be a real treat! ^_^
We could see more of Ramona then as well.

At the very start of Ma3, Jung looked like he was going to be a significant recurring character — but then he just vanished. I’m guessing that Giz and Dave have thought of something more to do with him, especially now they’ve given Gary the sort of closure that even his most tiresome fans can’t dispute.

The creation of Ramona, who can make Jung into a romantic character (in his special way) may have helped.

And thus it ends. Just like it started, with all the right messages. Both MA3 and DC. A positive vision of sex, and of all things sexual, and of all characters who freely enjoy their sexuality. Even if they are promiscuous. Even if they are cheaters. Even if they are children. Even if they are demons from hell, lol. Well done. To the very end, Giz and Dave kept on doing their own thing, completely ignoring the fundies and loonies who polluted the forum with their trollery. (I admit it: I laughed heartily at the scene of succubized Abby, right on the sofa with the other girls, watching the live porn stream of her brother and Chloe shagging like minks.)

And, actually, when I say "ignoring the loonies" I mean it in the old obsolete sense. This is a little tidbit of information that you may not know about: Giz and Dave don't give a flaming rat's ass about the forum. Harsh, but true. Giz and Dave don't read the forum, don't care about the opinions of the people who write here and don't pay attention to their messages, praises or flames. I've had confirmation from Giz herself -- she wrote to me (in reply to a pm) and stated it candidly:

https://image.ibb.co/eMogFV/Giz-message-Clipboard01.jpg

Of course, this also explains why the trolls and haters in the forum had so little success when they tried to pressure the creative team. People like Fluffy or Error of Logic practically spend their lives glued to their screens, posting huge bricks of text to bash the comic and denounce the evils of the authors... and they are systematically ignored, as if they weren't there. Of course, knowing that Giz and Dave have never ever read their messages, this comes as no surprise. I kinda wonder, though: do these little trolls know the truth? How would they feel if they knew they have wasted years of their lives writing here, trying to influence Giz & Dave, for nothing? Oh, the schadenfreude of it all.

This was fun. It was fun while it lasted, and it'll be fun on future rereads. Thank you, Giz and Dave, for your hard work -- for staying true to yourselves all along, and creating real comic masterpieces.
Welcome back Vitocap!

Could've used some backup these last few months. ;)

While I'm glad that the creative team never let the naysayers be a part of their process I'm disappointed that my wishes for an adventure comic with Naomi and Prudence has gone unheard.

Now, would that be an insinuation that some posters might be the sort of person featured on a certain television show, or at least coming off as that sort of person? I am shocked. Shocked, I say.

In before Vitocap starts their narrow minded spiel about DC critics being puritans hating anything sex related.

Honestly, if Vito and FGF were just saying that minors having sex with other minors shouldn't be stigmatized, i wouldn't think too much of it. But when they start saying that adults, as in full grown 30-year old adults should be able to have sex with a child the second they hit puberty, that's where i draw the line. And then, Vito just now saying that cheaters should be looked at in a positive light just proves to me that Vito is either a troll or is just deluded into beliving that everything doing with sex is positive and there's absolutely nothing on earth about it that is negative or that requires caution.

But, on a more positive note, I'm excited to see what the new comic is going to be about. I really did like the Ma3-verse comics, despite a few bumps here and there. And even though DC and EC had disappointing endings (I don't know if MC had a bad ending because i never read it), i really hope that the team is just plain done with them. I get the feeling that the team just ran out of ideas, passion, or both with the C-verse comics. That's one of the reasons i kept reading, despite admittedly not liking DC or EC anymore. I know the team is better than this and saw little bits of potential in the comic, but it was just never realized. Abby being a succubus had potential. What would her family think? Would she learn that she made a terrible mistake? Would she slowly start commiting evil acts and driving away the people she cared about? But no, nothing. Teddy and Abby's deadbeat mom had potential. Would she show up one day and try to make amends? Maybe she would explain why she left? Maybe she never meant to hurt them, but seeing her children hurt her because they reminded her too much of Lance. How would she react to Pandora? But she never appeared or was even referenced after she appeared once. Pandora and her angel lover had a lot of porential too. Maybe Pandora tried to hide feelings of genuine love from Zachuriel or heaven and hell found out and attempted to keep them apart.

On the Abby front (no pun intended) the comic seemed to be more interested in Teddy's reaction to her change than in Abby's. We did see one page where her suddenly growing up and getting breasts didn't have quite the impact on they boys she knew as she expected but other than that her transformation was a largely missed opportunity. Even basic stuff like whether or not she went to school was passed over.
