Well, I did as I said, though 6 months turned into about 14 months.
(No way I'm going through all the forum posts though.)

Yeah, I thinking about just bookmarking this & catch up in 6 months, maybe binge-reading will make things better. Frankly, I'm just bored with DC, character-wise things have been rather pathetic for a while ; plot-wise with only 2 updates a week each - ending with a punchline of sorts, things are moving at a snail's pace ; fanservice-wise I don't find any of the semi-recent character portrayals & situations remotely sexy ; lastly, all the jokes have fallen rather flat for me for the last year or so.
Of course on the other hand, since I've put Mà3 on ice as well & SOTR is on hiatus until eisu's hand heals, it would mean that I would stop coming to Pixie Trix altogether, which would be kind of sad.

Going back to this after over a year and binging the remaining chapters with a fresh perspective was an interesting experience for sure. First off, I'll say the comic is a much smoother read if you binge the thing rather than wait 3-4 days between each strip. That way, you don't really have time to over-analyze every strip - I think this holds true for all pixie-trix's stuff by the way since most of them are comedy & fanservice first, plot & characters second.
Second, plot-wise I must that it was rather predictable, all the big plot beats were pretty much figured out here on the forum ages ago, and common sense can get thrown out the window for the sake of comedy. That being said, I think it was still a fun ride, it was refreshing to see the story moving forward at a brisk pace. Most loose ends got tied up, and I thought the ending was satisfactory, everybody ended up in an okay place character-wise. So, not great for sure, but not really all that bad in the end - I usually cut comedies some slack in that regard.
Lastly, comedy and fanservice : the story got a few smiles out of me here and there, but the majority of gags still didn't work well for me. Neither did the fanservice for that matter, although it wasn't as off-putting as I remembered it.
I did feel a strong
hentai/porn vibe out of it, in which some of the more questionable moments would feel right at home, not to mention the whole "insert a sex scene every two scenes" thing. Those feel out of place in a traditional western-media comedy, but aren't uncommon of in japanese-style
ecchi/erotic comedy.
Final verdict : In the end, I don't think the webcomic really deserved
all the bad rap it got. Quality-wise, it's fairly standard pixie trix fair : some great nuggets, some facepalming moments, sometimes funny as heck, sometimes cringy as hell. Do the good moments outweigh the bad ones ? I don't know, I'd have to re-read the entire comic to start forming an opinion on that, but I'd guess it would be on par with the other EC-verse comic, which for me is enough to make the series an enjoyable read. As I've said before, one of its biggest problem was the two-strip-per-week publishing schedule that was agonizingly slow given that (I think) the comic is supposed to be more of a fast-paced pop-corn fanservice-heavy comedy flick, rather than a slow-building character-heavy romantic comedy with fanservice added.
tldr; I enjoyed the comic despite its flaws, would read it again.
