Dangerously Chloe 8-04-19 The End

Post by Jason Waltrip » Mon Apr 08, 2019 2:17 am

Last Strip! Our wild and magical story comes to a tantalizingly opened ending full of portents and possibilities as Chloe finally decides to do something about Teddy's slave collar.

Its over, huh? (Sigh). Its seems just yesterday that I stumbled upon this comic. Have to say, after going through the good, the bad and cringe, I'm glad we've reached the end. The only question I have is 'what now?'.

Thank God - it's finally over!

An anti climatic ending to a craptacular comic that once held such potential to be something that could have been good.

If the readers are left to make up their own conclusion as to what happens when Chloe removes that collar - I'm hoping Teddy's been thoroughly weakened by weeks of non stop sex that his body can't contain the ill begotten Godly powers he had, and explodes; killing everyone within a 50 mile radius (it would explain Kimmy's sigh as she watched the boinking taking place - she knows what's coming and can't do a thing to stop it lest she wants her own existence to be snuffed out for trying to interfere).
Please, don't come to me expecting me to fix your problems.

Nice touch using the title as the last words.

I would be disappointed that a lot of loose ends still remain, but seeing as how this is being left open for other story possibilities I'm still pleased with the outcome.

As much as I liked our couple I found myself more interested in the secondary characters and would like to see how things work out with them.

Naomi and Prudence continuing to have adventures is a great idea.

I personally like Charity and hope if she got expelled from Heaven she's at least enjoying life on Earth.

Pandora is still living at the DeCarlo's so apparently Ilsa hasn't returned to get her. There's actually a lot of possibilities like maybe she and Charity worked out an arrangement so both of their activities are kept hidden from their heavenly and hellish superiors. That would be very interesting to explore.

We still don't know what Alchemy was doing the whole time. Seeing as how I don't think Chloe and Teddy are going to be monogamous they might invite them for a tumble.

Abby is still a succubus, but perhaps Teddy's aim is for her to be like Chloe.

I'd also have liked the cryptid hunters, Gabrielle and Tandy to be more involved, but perhaps they could be involved in a bonus story.

I want to thank everyone involved: Gisele Lagace, Dave Lumsdon, Jason Waltrip, Casandra Webking, and of course T Campbell for all your work. While I would've liked some plots and storylines to go in a different direction this webcomic was never dull.

And I really do hope you come back with something so I don't go and burn bridges saying the things to all the naysayers I really want to. :ymdevil:

I think I will miss commiserating with this forum :)

But dang... what a cheap ending. Oh, we've barely spoken to each other for most of the comic, but we're madly in love...

Hrm. Not a fan of the loose ends, and there isn't much of an epilogue here. But it's over, and that's basically it. After many years of coming here for EC-verse and PMS/Vampire Chicks stuff, it's the end of an era. :(

Same - the majority of folks were fun to debate with. :)

Wow. For as many times as they climaxed, this sure felt anti-climactic.

So is Naomi just completely out of the picture then? Teddy said he didn't mind being *both* their slaves, and Chloe just took the leap that Naomi didn't want to take alone. Teddy got god powers and never bothered to fix Abby so she wasn't a succubus anymore? Like that would have been priority one after getting shit under control, surely.

I kinda like this ending. Been expecting it to be something along these lines ( Teddy and Chloe ending up together). Do wish we could have more stuff about the others, especially Naomi). Maybe we can talk the creators into doing something in the future if they can find a way to fund it.
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

Akin to how Phelous would say it, "Orh! He said it!!" I mean, a title drop is a nice way to end a series, but pity I feel no emotional or any satisfaction; no sweet or even bittersweet sense of closure as the title drop is just used because it can be, like a bow on present that is empty.

Anyway, I apologise for stating that last time was the final - now I know this anticlimactic ending is the definitive anticlimactic ending. Chloe ends up as another notch in Teddy's belt, while some contrived "makes it easy" god power resolves one of the central conflicts of her story arc in an awfully underwhelming manner.

Weeks of banging! Lulz... Yeah, snark aside, it is less creepy than the voyeur show with some of the most recurring characters watching from last time. Well, it is still a lacklustre conclusion to have characters that couldn't have been further estranged suddenly becoming Romeo & Juliet, since Romeo spent most of the time screwing randoms and just about every female character other than Juliet, whilst Juliet was mostly off-screen and never seemed to have a lasting reaction upon learning of Teddi's succubus-like deeds (unless, falling more in love is meant to be the result? In which case, a dark reflection on the demon with a heart of supposed gold).
So many threads left underdeveloped or abandoned. I guess the writers were never actually going to properly develop those plots and concepts, so better off that the superficial story finally ends.

As an addendum, the dichotomous forums with discussions, debates, and even the unfortunate occurrences of bickering made for more, for lack of a better word, entertainment value, which weirdly I suppose I will miss a bit.

I quite like your macabre version - a bit morbid, but would provide a peculiar sense of catharsis.

My head canon, however, is admittedly lazy, but when collar is removed, Teddy wakes up as a spirit all the way back to during the first time Abby accidentally killed him. So, all of the smut, mischaracterisation, and everything that made the comic so painful was merely a dream that Teddy suffered in limbo. Since all of the events mean nothing any way, erasing them from actually happening is better than acquiescing to their existence.
Where the story goes from limbo, I don't know. Leaving it to better writers than me or the disinterested and/or untalented ones that helmed this cyclical tedium.

Same on both counts. I honestly feel that forum discussion was at its best back when EC/MC and PMS were ongoing. I miss those days.

As for DC, in general, meh.

At this point, Korean manwhas are the only webcomics I have left. Well, that and my Switch.

Aww. It's over and unlike Eerie Cuties has an actual ending. I started getting tired of the story once Teddi injected themselves with the angel blood that I didn't even feel like posting any more. Can't say I'm happy with it. I would have liked to have seen Teddy go back to being all male, but I'm not the author and this ending is consistent with the story what he's been trying to tell for a while now.

I'll buy the last book in the upcoming Kickstarter to complete the collection, but I don't see myself reading this series again past the first book.

Because it's over or because the ending itself left something to be desired?
