Next update, for educational purpose the little kids needs to show what she learned...

I'm getting used to get some weird unsatisfying ending from the pixie trix comics. Now all we need in sandra on the rocks is for Sandra and Eva to hook up and everthing is in order.

What's unsatisfying? Most people wanted Chloe and Teddy to end up together. It's the same with Gary and Peggy. That's why I'm optimistic Sandra will ride off into the sunset on Cammi's motorcycle.

If Dave was writing to piss off a substantial part of his readership it would certainly explain a lot. But perhaps he'd have been better off spending less time thinking about what people here say or think and instead concentrating on making the comic better.

This comic is emotionally crippled. Its central relationship is a dumpster fire. Every single thing about this particular strip is ugly. Alchemy's presence makes me scratch my head at where she's been all this time.

This is odd. Not your comment, just the strip itself. I’m not sure what the point of the voyeurism is.

That said, Pandora is a succubus without any softening from human interaction. That’s to say, Chloe back to her EC days always felt she was a failure as a succubus. Until the doom panties arc, she went out of her way to be as un-succubi as possible. Pandora isn’t like that. She is a literal demon from hell. So just as she found it okay to tape Teddy getting a handjob and magick her way into marriage with Mr. DeCarlo, she sees nothing amiss with letting Abby watch this. That’s the one thing that rings true to me in this whole strip.

Actually if Dave is writing to piss off 0.002% of the total readership then that would make it even more futile and pointless. Still it's flattering that you think we're so important to him that he'd rather write stuff to annoy us than focus on writing stuff to make the other 99.998% of his readers happy.

And not that I'm doubting your maths skills but are there really 1 million people reading Dangerously Chloe?

What if he views you guys as being like the parents who get all up-in-arms every time an album with explicit lyrics drops? If so, then the more outrage you express, the more he knows his fans are pleased.

Only Dave and the rest of the Pixie Trix team know if the comic has been a commercial success and whether or not views etc have been increasing. But the fact that they are winding down suggests that it's not pleasing enough fans to make it financially viable.

Which might not all be down to the quality of the writing - it could just be reflective of a wider industry trend - but deliberately setting out to upset even a small portion of your fan base rather than trying to please as many people as possible very rarely seems to work in the long run.

Abby squickiness aside, at least the comic is getting an ending. Maybe not a good ending, but an ending nonetheless. Which is more than can be said for EC, which didn't "end" so much as "Sputter out and die"
