Dude, given the negative flak gay couples have when they want to start a family, implying that a character was being brainwashed into becoming a lesbian by her lesbian parents was particularly inconsiderate.
I'm by no means an SJW/PC; but I can see why people would take particular offense to that particular subplot.

Now that i think about it, why is Triana still with Chris? He has cheated on her more than once. Under the effects of succubus pheromones sure, but Triana doesn't know that.

Probably due to outdated high school status quos. It doesn't matter how many times Chris cheated on Triana - high school status quo dictates that the head cheerleader must date the star quarterback.

I can't be bothered to go back and check out the full wording but when Chloe was researching how to break the contract it defined a girlfriend as "somebody who cared for him from the heart".
Naomi has known Teddy quite a long time and has shown inclinations towards him so it's possible that she felt enough for him in her heart to qualify even if they hadn't actually gone on a single proper date.

He's a star athlete and she's a cheerleader so their relationship is probably based on high school popularity at this point. Moreover, Teddi determined he was the boy with the most stamina when looking for a match for Chloe so that's got to count for something too.

It could be some misdirection. After everything that happened Teddy might want to test the waters before returning to school so he asked Naomi to investigate. He might've enrolled at Charybdis after presumably resetting everything and I hope he did because it would be nice to see some of the people from Eerie Cuties again. Who knows maybe Chloe reenrolled there too.

I don't recall Chloe ever telling him about her former school.

Neither do I and if Chloe had Teddy would've looked there to find someone who could survive a sexual encounter with her in the first place, but considering all of their other godlike powers I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly knew the answer. Either that or Chloe told them after they disappeared from Hell.

The demon contract considered them as such. So, I was willing to go with it.
Especially since lots of people now seem to think that it happens that fast.

I may be a little too close to it. As I said at the time that strip happened, my cousin came to live with my wife and I some time ago because her mom had an absolute conniption fit when she found out her daughter was straight. Called her a ‘waste of money’ when I called up to confirm. Straight people hold no monopoly on being dicks to their kids.
