I’m really confused why Teddy’s final form, or god form, is female. Does Teddy now really see himself as Teddi? Is he more comfortable and happy being a she? Because if he’s a god, wouldn’t he have the power to pick his dominant body, and wouldn’t he go with what feels natural? So I’m guessing her preference is she now, which is fine but also feels like it’s done purely for ascetic reasons.
It is.

It probably is unless Ilsa takes it up a notch.

Looks like Ilsa forgot to ask one important question when receiving directives from earthlings: "Are you a god?" Would'a saved herself some zappage.

Just an idea, but Ilsa clearly recognizes what Teddy is...and isn't concerned in the slightest. Makes me wonder what she knows, maybe Teddy isn't as stable as they think they are. Maybe his form doesn't have enough juice behind it to keep running and she's racing the clock.

Or maybe, she's not the in top tier of Hell and is sandbagging Teddy till the real big bosses turn up to deal with the upstart.

Agreed on that point. Ilsa doesn’t seem particularly concerned.

It may be in her nature to be flippant, but my actual guess here is that, you know, you really can’t blow the roof off of the succubus academy and not attract the attention of some pretty powerful entities.

I suspect Ilsa is just killing time until backup arrives.

And now time for the expected "Yeah, torture me more" response. Only way to get through to a succubus is not to cause pain, but to sever all sensation. No pain, no pleasure, no hot, no cold, not a damn thing. And then just let her rot like that until she gets it through her thick skull.

..huh. my previous comment is gone. Weird. Wonder if it was a board glitch or something. Would be funny if guesses were close to the mark.
AH well don't really feel like typing it up again.
------
On the topic of back up. All things of hte past considered. I think the tangental holy ish aura is probably palpable to others. So it should probably gather a fair bit of attention. I don't think an exploding school alone would warrant a big bad coming in. but a relatively(we assume) high level of power, god power or holy power or a mix, likely would garner attention.

I would note though, Where's Chloe? If I understood the building correctly.. wasn't her room in the corner that now no longer exists?
Given where they jumped out of the window, and where Ted Kool-Aid-Man'd that wall, the room Chloe was in, is now gone no?

Low key hoping Ilsa doesn't submit or has a card up her sleeve that trumps even Teddy's newfound god status.

Because, seriously - nothing sucks worse than god/god-like characters; especially when they get these powers by sheer luck.
I hear that often, the idea that you can't have characters who are too powerful without spoiling a story. And it's definitely a slippery slope, but I've always believed that there are ways to make it work. I'd like to see if Dave's up to writing a godlike being into the plot while maintaining its integrity. Like, Teddi's lack of experience creates a learning curve, or their raw power necessitates an "avatar" on the mortal plain which mitigates their abilities, or simply say that personal issues and relationships can't be immediately resolved with cosmic abilities and require as much time and effort as they ever did because Teddy's still a young man/woman finding his/her way in the world.

So I hope there's no "off switch" to Teddy's godhood. I'm tired of seeing amazingly powerful characters downgraded to serve the story. I want to see the story adapt to make room for them! Besides, we might be nearing an endpoint. I'm guessing that Teddy's going to wind up doing something really cute and harmless to her which will drive her crazy, like turning her into a Care Bear or sending her to the Land of Cupcakes or something.

Teddy being powerful isn't the issue. It's that he obtained such power through sheer happenstance and now seems able to use it without having to be taught how.

Contrast that with Ana, who started off studying magic (presumably, under Hecate) before eventually being mentored by the Lord of Shadows. She became insanely powerful as a result, but it's justified in her case, since we know where she gets it from and why she's so proficient with her abilities. Or Faith, who's also über powerful, but still struggling to learn how to control it properly.

Whereas Teddy can now threaten someone who should be far more experienced, simply because he got injected with what basically amounts to an ectoplasmic cocktail. Which I'm guessing is what Fluffy meant.

You're assuming female... which is not the only answer possible. This form might be hermaphrodite, with a full set of both genders as well as divine and infernal power.

That's my take too, especially going by Ilsa's comment.

Pretty much, yeah.

When he was split into two, Teddy either used his powers subconsciously (dark Teddy) or needed to be taught how to be one with the universe (light Teddi). Even before the split, Teddi had no idea that he was manipulating his lovers into having sex with him - always thinking it was an outside source he had to take responsibility for ( 8-| ).

Now, suddenly - we have UberTeds - wielding powers they only just obtained like a pro. :-w But then, with the lack of plot consistency in this comic's run, this really doesn't come as a tremendous surprise.

Something like Frieza's candy coated Hell?

We would generally not consider a minor's signature on a contract valid, as we presume minors are not sophisticated enough to understand what they are signing - that probably applies to Abby, here.
By that token, then Teddy's contract was never valid, as he was a minor.
