Meh. Chloe's "rising star"-status was based on her bungling causing damage to Teddy's life and Slash-Stab mistakenly believing it was done through planned malice, rather than incompetence.

Or put it another way because it's not "high art" we shouldn't pay the artist the respect of commenting when they've got something wrong. Just out of interest how do you think they're going to improve if nobody says "that bit wasn't good" or "might be better if"?
And it's not as though they have to listen to what anybody says.
You guys do realize that these comics have something called editors. They provide "Professional" feedback on a regular basis. Your comments are akin to going into a Gordon Ramsey restaurant and complaining that the food does not have enough salt in it. I find it really annoying. But to each their own.

I may not be a comic artist, but I've been doing commissioned artwork for the last 18 years (largely consisting of erotica content), so I have a fair idea on how a body should look; but, thanks for the assuming I'm talking out of my ass.

If the artist can't handle hearing anything but praise for their work, they're in the wrong kind of business.
I think you kinda proved my point when you said that you are not a comic artist. You are judging his work based on your biases. Since your work is probably of a higher art form than naturally, you will probably be more critical of someone in this business. The point I'm making is it is critique without justification. Like I said to the other comment, let the professional editors do their job. I really just felt your comment was particularly to harsh when it did not need to be.

As I stated earlier - any form of media that is published to a broad audience is open to criticism. If I think something looks off about a drawing (example - Teddy in the last panel of this last strip; where he looks overall ridiculous), I have every right to give my opinion about it, and how I express it - and I tend to be blunt instead of tiptoeing around the criticism to avoid hurting someone's feelings (too many artists surround themselves in hug boxes and only want to hear the positive feedback - which I find personally annoying; as promising artists who shut out the criticism never improve on their skill, and their work becomes stagnant).

And you realize that every TV program and song has somebody who is meant to check if for quality but I bet that doesn't stop you having an opinion. Which is all anybody here is expressing which is their opinion.
And since the amount of salt in food is very much a personal preference then somebody is perfectly entitled and at liberty to say that there is too much salt in something cooked in any restaurant no matter how well trained the chef. Not to mention that any kitchen in any restaurant will sometimes get things wrong and produce food that is badly cooked. What would you do if something arrived half raw? Eat it anyway because it came from a Gordon Ramsey kitchen so must be perfect or complain and send it back to the kitchen?

I agree.
The idea that editors are professional critiques is laughable. It's not like every movie critic is a movie director.
Gordon will get his food critiqued by everyone who eats it. Just because he may have an ego so large as to believe anyone who hates his food has no taste, is just his ego being to big.
