Peculiar that Slash-stab appears angry; perhaps she is actually being contemplative, but it is difficult to know for sure when she is basically in the background. Well, that one in part was Slash-stab's fault. She was the one that gave her carte blanche for indefinite stay because she was amused by Chloe making Teddy's life a living hell.

Also, Slash-stab didn't know Chloe's plan to break Teddy's contract, and that's also on her, she should've at least suspected something.

Personally, I don't "hate" either of them. I'm just baffled by the notion that Chloe could have a reason to cry about the mark fading away.

I haven't forgotten about that; and neither had she - considering she went out of her way to find Teddy a girlfriend with the intent of nullifying the contract (which she sabotaged herself when it seemed he was hitting it off with Triana).

However, for all his claims about wanting to save Chloe (by finding her a 'boyfriend'), Teddy/i had a nasty habit of constantly getting side tracked from his mission (largely due to getting his groove on) and had to be reminded about what he was supposed to be doing, in the first place. Hell, even after getting split into two different people, s/he was more focused on their new lives as a developing Gods that they both - again - forget about Chloe's immediate situation (last they knew - Chloe was chained up in the basement; starving to death).

Yes, but she fights against her nature unlike her fellow succubi and Teddy was the only good boy in her life that was willing to help.... with the exception of friends from Charybdis that she hasn’t looked up once since she returned to Earth.

Was he...? 'cuz I don't recall Chloe ever asking anyone for help, in either comic. The closest instance that comes to mind was back when she and her mom talked about transferring to Tartarus U. Aside from that, others have usually taken it upon themselves to help her.

Now the question is....is teddy gonna mount a rescue? He is after all a God now...sort of

no female teddi succubus/angel/reaper/human is leaning toward an angel and male teddy seems to be leaning toward incubus incubus/human/reaper/angel

so here is the question why is chloe crying over this she had been half heartedly looking for a way for teddy to get out of the deal so he could live. So it has happened he is free and clear of the contract though there will be repercussions for chloe especially since her instructor is right there and witnessed it.

Has it ever been discussed as to what would happen to the mark if Teddy died before the consummation of the Chloe/Teddy relationship? If Teddy where hit by a bus, wouldn't that terminate the contract? It's not likely but Chloe could be crying because she thinks Teddy has died. The most probable answer is that she has true romantic feelings for him and now thinks she's lost him. One could argue that Teddy/Teddi's behavior shows him/her to be not worthy of such grief but the standards for Succubus behavior are so low it might not concern Chloe.

The best ending for everybody involved would be a reset, the past being changed so none of them met ever... but this is a Pixie Trix Comix, so I don't expect such a closed ending... The comic will probably "end" with Pandora and Chloe still living with Teddy and Abby, Teddy as either female or two-bodied, Abby still a Succubus, Chloe still engaged to Teddy, and Naomi still living with Prudence and believing that supernatural creatures are aliens...

Interestingly, Chloe was originally supposed to have been sent to Tartarus Academy for one semester (way back in EC after the Doompanties episode), so presumably the concept of a Semester down there isn't a fixed period of time (never mind time flows at a different rate down there than up here)...

The terms we were told was that she would consider herself his girlfriend in her heart. I took the contract being dissolved as some mystical determination that that is what Naomi is feeling - not just an empathy date, but rather that he's the only guy who could understand what she has been through, and that she read his sharing over food as him possibly feeling the same way.
