True, but that’s allowed in fiction also. The good guy can make a mistake, or maybe it isn’t a mistake and the good guy can be not so good anymore, he may stumble, he may fall, character growth can go all sorts of directions. It doesn’t always have to be a straight line from good guy to better guy.lordoffiling wrote: ↑Fri Oct 05, 2018 12:54 amThing is, Teddy was doing this crap long before this point.
EDIT: Tried to fix that nested quote but it refuses, my apologies.

Your point is valid, unfortunately doesn't apply to Teddy/i/y because he hasn't grown in the sense of improvement. He's physically and metaphysically changed, and has changed into a wretched person; arguably worse is that his *journey* has been boring, and not so much a line as a circle. Although, as a baseline: he was good/neutral with a bit of stubbornness problem - changed into a bad entity growing arrogance and worse stubbornness; after doing the same nonsense repeatedly (seems unlikely, but maybe credit is due, "definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting something different." Teddi is insane?), him/her feeling bad after Abby got cross with them doesn't quite mean they are "redeemed."
On a tangent, I'd like to note if anyone happens to like the strip, my dislike for the state of the comic is for the comic only; even if I don't understand why someone would like it as it is, I mean no disrespect.
