I can't help wondering at what the point the creators went from "We need a lead character for a new strip. How about Chloe Love? So many story possibilities from a goodhearted succubus falling in love with a mortal" to "Oh not Chloe again! We don't need her we need fan service and sex jokes not romantic comedy" before ending up thinking"Well we can hardly write her out 100% completely from the story named after her so let's show her cooking lunch every ten strips or so while we concentrate on Teddy's shagging exploits instead."

Well. Let's just chalk this up to the Teddies wishing to reintegrate, subconsciously. Not to mention all the succubus junk in their cocktail.

This is my guess too. I'm sure on a surface level there's the "so hot we can't help it" attraction going on, but the plot fits so far. Interrupted ascension created two bodies for one being. Said being has now stated he feels hollow inside. Has immediate attraction to his other half. This is a situation just begging to go out of control.

Ok, where this arc is going would be glaringly obvious to a blind person.

The only real question here is when Teddy ends up having sex with Teddi does that count as fornication or masturbation?

Does Charity really think she can put a stop a developing deity from screwing himself? Yeah - good luck with that.

Also - unless Teddy never looked in a mirror the entire time he was a girl - there's no possible way he never saw his female form before now. Hell, it's not even a case of someone looking different in another person's eyes, because Teddy was never a different person - he was always himself (even as a girl).

It is possible though that just as the transformation has left Teddy more "manly" and attractive the same has also happened with Teddi but since the changes making him more "womanly" are more subtle they don't show up as much as Teddy's new muscles.

I'm more inclined to believe it's the succubus blood coursing in their veins that is causing this sudden attraction to themselves moreso than reaching an ethereal level of attractiveness that makes them irresistibly attractive to any passing eye. If it were the latter case, no one in that room would be able to resist boning them on the spot.

The succubus blood doesn't seem to be prompting them to feel attracted to anybody else there though. Which since the two of them have already had sex seems quite insulting to Alchemy.

But we may be wasting our time thinking about it. I'm pretty sure that the writing now is basically going for short term "laughs" rather than any kind of plot consistency.

In the realm of mythology, this wouldn’t be the weirdest thing that has happened.

For all her faults - yae, which are many - I'll at least credit Charity with trying to do the right thing, here. She stopped Abigail from playing one of her moronic, Pandora-inspired pranks. She prevented the localized Big Bang. She's trying to stop the two-Teddy pileup.

I don't like her as a person, but she's been the MVP of the comic recently.

Well if Teddi becomes Teddy's girlfriend that would at least invalidate the contract between Teddy and Chloe. Of course there might just be a few more loose ends to tie and we all know how well that usually gets done.

Y'know what? I'm feeling a little anarchic today, want to watch Teddi's world burn just a little more. Let them go all the way, and screw each other's brains out. Also Teddy/Teddi is a god now. Incest and probably self impregnation from said incest is just par for the course. Their kid will probably jump out of his head fully grown or something. It's all down hill from here on out.
