Teleportation is a thing. But seems to, for most mavic users, require drawn casting circles
Pointless arguing is one of the three pillars upon which the Internet is built. The other two are of course cat pictures and porn.

@vampire hunter D: Yeah, but he was asking whether Mel could do it. And, so far, the Bermuda incident is as close as she's ever come to teleporting.

But in a broder sense, we've seen Hecate, Tandy, and Tia teleport. The first two seem able to do it at will, whereas Tia needs a spell cirle.

Rather more mundanely than missing Magical Girls you have to wonder what the police and other emergency services have been doing all this time. Reports of explosions. Large bright lights seen near at least one of those reports and a naked floating female at the epicentre yet nobody official has responded.

Come to think of it the park and streets must either have been totally lacking in passers-by or Canadians really are too polite to look at strangers.

unless this has become invisible to the Sleepers, like Al usually is, and Prudy's wings

oh, and Tandy didn't tleport. She's a ninja. they tend to pop up out of no where by stealth

This is sorta what I’m driving at. How much time do you think has gone by? I know it’s a long time for *us*, since the comic only updates twice a week, but for them I think it’s only been a few minutes.

@:lordoffilling Even if it's only gone on for a few minutes, there is such a thing as rapid response. A strange glowing girl spontaneously causing mini-explosions is the sort of thing that'd immediately draw people's attention, because of how unusual and alarming it would be.

However, I doubt that it's only been a few minutes since Teddy ran out of the house, unless his family lives near the park. Otherwise, he'd have to possess superhuman speed to get far enough to sufficiently minimize risk of collateral damage and casualties, given the impending "big bang" seems due at any moment.

Stealth wound be concealing herself behind a shrub, or beneath a straw mat. Instead, she suddenly appeared out of thin air. Ninja may be masters of stealth, but (in fiction) many of them can teleport to; especially in anime and video games.

There have been at least two explosions. The first was strong enough to throw a succubus across the room and be felt upstairs. The second blew a major crater in a park. Either of those should have drawn some attention.

Then there was Chloe (who is visible to humans) flying through the air. Not to mention the lightshow which we have no reason yet to believe isn't visible.

And as for time there's been enough for Teddy to leave while Chloe met Alchemy and Abby. Then for Teddy to walk to the park - which judging from the strip where the team saw the light show was some way away. And then there was time for Alchemy and Abby to walk to the part in time to see Charity and Chloe fighting. And then for Charity to do some exposition, draw on a board and then change her mind about what to try to do.

Which in total seems to me likely to have taken more than just a few minutes. Unless they're working on Hollywood countdown time when all bets are off.

Can Teddy go back to being a boy instead of a slut?

Tandy has a lot of skills like stealth, but she doesn't have the power to teleport. http://www.dangerouslychloe.com/strips-dc/a-lame-excuse

@brasca: How does that link disprove that she can teleport?

Mystics aren't the only ones that can do it, just as witches aren't the only ones who can use magic (i.e. magic cadets) and espers aren't the only ones with mind control abilities.

Tandy didn't teleport in that comic; she apparently dropped from a tree.

@FuzzyFace: Look at the panel where she appeared, Gaby and Mel were standing in a clearing. The only trees present were off in the distance behind them. Tandy was nowhere to be seen, until Gaby called for her.

It'd be different had they either been standing near a tree, or if there was a branch shown overhead for her to leap down from, but there wasn't one. She simply appeared in midair. When someone makes a sudden appearance in that fashion, it's usually explained one of two ways: a) teleportation, or some other form of magic. Or b) they're fast (such as...).
