New Strip! Teddy finally decides to take the risk and injects himself with the angel blood syringe.

He actually did it.

Into the chest? Not where I would have expected the injection to go, but...

Well, it’s a magical injection, it’s not like he needs to main line it...

Gotta be more comfortable places to jab yourself with a needle, though.

Also, Teddi, it’s really sweet that you’re trying to save Chloe from herself and all, but she’s a succubus. She’s gotta eat people. With the sex. That’s how she’s gotta love her life, you can’t prevent it.

Oh, the tragedy... of misspelling, so jerks like me can point out that "abstenence" is spelt "abstinence." I may make a grammatical error or more, but I'm not in charge of a comic. Aha

Anyway, this is fairly weak excuse of a *character arc* - Teddy, young, nerdy kid, has no confidence, gets picked on at school. Makes pact with a demon by accident; demon tries to help, but mostly makes him embarrassed and he never grows any strength, other than a few isolated incidents in which he defends Chloe. When he transforms into a female, he only gains "confidence" after f**king his bullies' girlfriends and then the bullies themselves, and then a bunch of other miscellaneous beef and tit cakes. He never grew as a character; he never actually developed confidence, only narcissism from a body that wasn't even his, not to mention how blinded he became by the pleasures of sex and exhibitionism.
If the needle kills him, then... well, the strip has already been an exploration of hell, so if dies and goes to Hell, it'd be a letdown but not especially a change from the usual tripe. Sardonicism aside, it seems doubtful Teddi will return to Teddy - perhaps he will momentarily, only to revert because funny. Even if the reverse transformation sticks, I doubt how classic Teddy will be able to cope with the memories of vulgarity and defilement.

I feel like the third third panel is a great reason of why she shouldn't have injected herself. So in her mind the worst case scenario was a literal demon dies. But the best case scenario was he dies and gets tortured in hell for all eternity?

If he doesn't take it, Chloe, whom he cares about very deeply, probably dies.

If he does take it, worst cast scenario is he dies and gets tortured in hell for all eternity - and Chloe dies. Best case scenario is he winds up male again and capable of helping Chloe with her problem.

He's not trying to prevent her feeding, he wants to prevent her from dying and also to stop her from killing someone. Both are achievable things, as its made quite clear that succubi don't have to kill people to feed from them, its the losing virginity thing (and perhaps a few practice times after) that is deadly (though only if the male is substantially weaker than a angel or demon male).

Hopefully what will happen next won't be nearly so controversial.

Sometimes I really yearn for early EC Chloe.

I hope so too, but I seriously doubt it at this point. For a lot of posters seem to enjoy hearing themselves complain.

I'm no expert on the human body, let alone the female body, and definitely not a body that has been supernaturally rearranged into one, so this may sound stupid, but what is the chance that the needle goes into fat in the breast? And if it does go into fat, would the blood still make it into the blood stream?

I can't speak for how fatty Teddi's boobs are but I have to give myself injections and one of the injection sites they allow is the stomach. It hurts like a bitch but there's definitely a good amount of fat there and it still gets into me. There now as I say that I'm not even sure if it's trying to get into the blood or just needs to be absorbed by the body so I was totally useless in explaining!

When Pandora first injected Teddy I don't think she had time to look for a vein. With supernatural blood I don't think it matters.

And now... now we find out.
